This one for me was ingenious. My mind reaching out for connections sees each line connected to protection and man\'s exploitation. Whether whale, oil, meat, wood, pollution, fish and the land itself. You have managed to take one concept and string all the otherwise unrelated lines together. Very well done or I\'m just off after a ghost.

You\'re way, way too fun with this!!! Oh, but who can\'t but love you?! Lovely and teasing with excellent good humor and a touch of feigned trickery. Delightfully rendered with gorgeous imagery and a waltzing poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Oh! How deliciously gorgeous tis, laden with nigh exquisite imagery and, if read aloud as poetry is to properly be indulged, the soul is nearly absorbed into the vision, swallowed by the same whose poignancy hauntingly echoes. Thank you so very much for sharing. I love it!

This poem made me feel right at home. I live with all this a hundred and fifty feet from my door. A lovely write that encapsulates the experience of taking a walk through the forest, woods, mato, jungle whatever you want to call it. Loved it

People forget how magical a forest or woods can be, nature thriving in it\'s natural habitat, the sounds, smells and the noise just brings a sense of connecting with nature, lovely write

I have read, and reread this eloquent cry of the poet\'s soul, that whisper in the gloaming where few hear, and methinks I know, or rather, understand better what I never realized before. It\'s not the disunity. No. It\'s our head. Gorgeously rendered with excellent imagery and a gripping, haunting poignancy whose voice lingers. Thank you for sharing.

I don\'t know who babel is,my sense from this write is remembering days past and how things might have been and searching for a way to get back to them, for people to be heard and listened to again, apologies if wrong, enjoyed the read

Brilliant! I have heard this Bible (fable) used to explain many things even as an analogy of the development of language from its original roots through proto European and on to us, but never as a metaphor for individual relationships and their breakdown in communication. I works so well in the initial unity of a relationship where all is shared and time is spent in communication and its erosion and demise through lack of communication net even understanding each other any more. There are other metaphors that can be take from this but this one struck me. Very well done Cryptic
