You have hit the old memory button with this one. Roughly 40 years ago I danced in a recital to Stars on 45 Beatles Medley, and it all came flooding back reading this poem and listening to the music. The knees and hips may have aged, but the joy is still there. Thank you dear friend for this wonderful walk down memory lane, I\'ll be dancing the rest of the day, just hope I don\'t hurt myself.

Definitely a luxuriant jungle in cyber- space, Rik. Difficult to negotiate at times, armed only with a keyboard as a machete. A succinct diagnosis there, mate.

This truly hits the painful spot of reality. War is the great destroyer, but also the great enhancer in the worst possible way. Very powerfully said dear friend!

the gods of war would do battle with you for this. For doing battle is all they are good for... and hush, for they lurk in the dark curtains ever seeking new game.

Too true Rik and so succinctly put. This addiction to war will inflict more and more weariness to all life on this beautiful planet.

And - I\'ve got as far as trying to work out, if a famous hyphen is needed between anti and polarity or not.
It\'s sad, I know, what I belabour myself with sometimes. lol.

It\'s an unattainable height for me sometimes to understand some poetry. Don\'t they know I only got three brain cells?
They get tired of trying to understand, and then they go off on holiday. I dunno when they\'ll be back! lol.

For me Ohio is not the main point of interest, here. The pajamas in the cold and the lost baggage claim...... or is it me who has lost something, Rik?

I love the way music can help enhance the tone of a poem, and you sure picked a honey, the sweet strains of Chuck Mangione. I\'m swaying, toes tapping as I\'m reading, and loving every minute of this lovely memory shared. Thank you!

Not ever having been to Ohio I have to let my mind carry me there, which is much safer since dressed in pajamas I don\'t feel dressed for the occasion. It does evoke a playful and wistful feeling as well as type of nostalgia for a time long gone. Loved it.
