I enjoyed reading this and it certainly chimes with my experience of loves lost and ones personal outlook in the days immediately after an ending. Hopefully ageing also brings self esteem and gone are those younger days when a feeling of worthlessness could so easily invade. Nowadays a feeling of freedom to get on with the stuff i want to do pervades.

I walk in foreign footsteps...
It says so much. I spend my life this way.
It has put a song in my head. Probably another I should not admit I listen to. I can hear the words but can\'t remember the title ... I will put in my best efforts at recall.
