As an aside the saying \'Show a leg\' was a sign in the navy of the 18th and 19th century for the sailors to get up and showing a leg told the bosun if it was a woman in the bed.

WE both (Angela is my Wife of two Months !) love G & S. I used to visit (every Year with Friends) for the G & S Festival ! WE stayed in a B B on t*other side of Park and walked over each Afternoon & Evening for the Shows ~ Participating in the Chorus in the late show. Alas it has moved to Harrowgate (Yorks) but we have never visited the New Venue. We love the whole of the Peak District - especially the Blue John Mines & Chatsworth & Bakewell especially the Bakewell Show & the (edible) Tarts ! Thanks for a trip down Memory Lane !
