Careful wording and images give the feeling of past places one has been and this is well blended with the sense of togetherness until the end of time. Very nice and emotional

I get the feel of loneliness and isolation, someone who could do with a bit of company. Well written

A sense of anomie and isolation pervade this poem. It carries the reader down this street to its inevitable dead end. Nicely written

The Train to North Durham

There are certain faces, bodies, people that strike us with bolt of passion, it is not love at first sight but lust at first sight. Some may be lukey to strike it off on such occasions but for most of us we lay smitten with an unfulfilled dream for the rest of our lives and no matter how great the love we find or the encouters we philander nothing will ever come close to fulfilling that dream left unfulfilled. A wonderful psychological write

When i vacationed in Hell
Mutley Ravishes said:

I took myself into hell once upon a time. I don\'t want to go back. Or, should I say, when I go back, I\'d like to be ready. The serpent patiently waits.....to be uplifted!
Great write.

When i vacationed in Hell
sorenbarrett said:

The darkest hell is the one in our mind and from that one we don\'t come back. With our conscience being our Satan it is mercilous and brutal we give it our heart but to no avail. There are many great lines in this piece and it seems like Dante\'s decent into hell in his devine comedy but instead of observing others it is oneself being tortured but almost as an observer as well. This seperation of mind from body in pain is an emphasis of the how one without conscionce focuses on physical pain while a conscience when felt is a far greater pain than the physical. Given a second chance by a conscience or Saten that has learned compassion. A most lovely write heart felt. No my friend I am on several other sites but have not published any of my works feel free to look at any of my past works, some are worth a look most of my early works as for most of us are writings of learning with a few rants.
