Tick Tock

This poem has a feel of antiquity. It takes one back through time, but mentions that time keeps going on. There is a sense of urgency with it as well. Nicely written.

A lovely last line to ponder. Many of us talk of gradations when in fact, it is not necessary. It is the due or do not like or not like that counts. Very nicely expressed.

Brilliantly written in paradox this poem calls out for understanding. It reads as almost a prophecy.

A most clever usage of internal rhyme to enhance the feeling that this poem emits. Nicely done

Whew. Lots here. \"For time has lost us in the wind,
And blown us back to dust,
My love, thou taught me near to sin,
Forget you though I must.\" is kind of the story of my life.
Thanks for this.

Very compelling reverie... full of fierce images and terse observations... at first this piece seemed unnecessarily stilted and sometimes unnatural in its phrasing. But as I read on it finds its rhythm and works on the reader\'s heart with its insistence and sincerity and courage. To face pain bravely only to find more pain is a bit of the human condition, no? Thanks for posting.
