Faved. I love the luminous moon (well I love the moon regardless), so this title dragged me in. The poem shines as brightly! Well done, Salvia! πŸŒΉπŸ‘

Lament of the Last Leaf
Soman Ragavan said:

\"Fleeting time lost in eternity\" : thus, time is fleeting and disappears from sight, but goes into eternity.
\"Beauty\'s an ephemeral serenity\" : the nature of beauty is ephemeral, but there is serenity about it.
The poem does not say if the last leaf is blown away. If it does get blown away, there will be a picture of emptiness.
Soman Ragavan. 28 February 2025.

This poem is tightly woven. Memories, echoes, time, beauty are all ephemeral and measured in the eye of the of the beholder. Very nicely done a fave

An enjoyable poem to read! The mental image of the last leaf clinging to the bough, despite high winds, is an inspirational one, in a way. We know deep down the leaf must perish in the end, but life is precious and every new day is a gift!

Clever the use of numbers in place of words to pull together the desynchronies of spelling in the English language to form meaning. Short and masterfully done.

Very nice. The comment will be longer than the poem and that is how it should be. Any poem that in a few words can promote a days worth of thoughts is worth its weight in gold. Very nice
