If so lunatics should rule the earth, after all we all say they do anyway. A beautiful poem of peace and humanity that we all should aspire to

I feel that the current solutions are more of a temporary fix than a fundamental solution. I believe that the day will come when we will be able to find a fundamental solution and solve each problem one by one.

Evil Apple Tree (Or Is It Me)
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Of course it\'s the apple tree\'s fault! Duh! This reminds me of my childhood. Our neighbor had this crab apple tree that, of course, dumped a majority of its apples on our yard. Perfect chore for a child, right? That\'s what my parents thought too! LOL! Hated that tree! LOL! And, yes, it was all that tree\'s fault! I, of course, look back fondly at it now, long since taken down. Hahahaha! But yeah, glad that chore is behind me. Anywho, as you can see, I really enjoyed your poem and thank you for sparking that memory! Here\'s to the new year Tobani! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘

oh dear! I am liking this tree! the only one left standing. Perhaps the soil around it needs refreshing... and its composition made more to the needs of whatever plants or crops that you are planting. I loved the poem, btw. But i still like that apple tree. ๐Ÿ‘

Sometimes we come into the arena pumped up and hyped up, super motivated only to realise that de-escalation has its merits and timing. Thanks for calling our thoughts to a wider perspective.

I Have a GUN ( But we can talk)
Bella Shepard said:

I was born four years after the end of World War II, I was a child during the Korean War, but I lived through the Vietnam War and saw first hand the horror and destruction every night on the news. Your poem rightly begs the question why do we continue to follow where we are led. The last stanza is such a hopeful thought for the future, perhaps generations from now that is how we will solve our differences. Thank you for this very profound piece.

War as old as man relies on social compliance and the following of the alpha male that has deemed it in his best advantage to wage it. Beat the drum sound the war cry dehumanize the enemy it all goes for both sides. A great poem to get people to reflect upon what they are asked to do.

A nice mirthful trio here TobaniNataiella.

Though when I read them back and paid more attention to the title of each limerick, I cannot help but think that each of them is a satirical comment on the operation of humanity, makes them even more immersive.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.
