To just fart around.”

Good point. Enjoy this light poem.

Do you recall the video by Queen where he\'s vacuuming - whenever I see it I want to sing: I want to break wind. Well this laugh aloud posting put me in mind of it.

PS You\'ll never forget these words whenever you hear Queen sing \'I want to break free\' .

WBL, I love your \"travel documentary\", so well written! Know the area, used to drive from Montreal all the way to New York. Beautiful country, especially in the Fall.

HI ANGEL ~Time and tide wait for no Man but Man always waits for Woman. I never wear a watch because deadlines are of much less use than lifelines. Jim Reeves hated to be late for a Concert ~ but he hadn\'t reckoned with the slowness of travel in Ireland ! One evening he arrived at Midnight for a Concert in Knock scheduled for 7:30pm ! BUT being Ireland the audience has sat patient and greeted JIM as if it was only 7:30 ! Jim learned something that night and his life was less frenetic thereafter. The one thing I have is plenty of time (@33 I\'m only a third through my life) I don\'t get £24 every day but I do get 24 hours ! However quality time with one\'s Love does fly ! Lovely poem ~ thanks for raising the concept ! Time for a Hug ~ BRIAN

Good write. I have a theory that we never want to know the actual time, what we want to know is how close it is to another time.

Great thought and a great write - I think it may have inspired a limerick - in fact it has:

A Welshman from The Gower
got looks from his boss quite sour
‘Don’t do it again’
was his bosses refrain
so he put back his watch by an hour

My enemy, my friend, this ego of mine. You serve your purpose in this world, but betray me in over-ruling my soul as you tend to do. You play out the struggle for balance beautifully in this fine poem, WBL!

Thanks for the poem WBL . They\'ve got a name for people who suffer from this affliction (might post this one day in the gallery):

Never one to sit on a shelf
always very full of himself
he suffers from an anti-social perversion
medically known as rectal introversion.
