Summer Daze

Frightening isn\'t it.. autumn will soon be upon us and you introduce that reality in such a poetic way...

Your last stanza is very inviting too... I imagine there is a very lucky fella blushing somewhere....

Panic!
Suresh said:

Most of us don\'t know how to respond, so we coil away into our own hiding place, afraid to make the situation worse.
You have unabashedly exposed your affliction in a very poetic verse and unlike most, you recognize it as it is happening, which is the first step to realizing need for compasionate help

Panic!
dusk arising said:

I only ever had one panic attack which was brought on by skunk cannabis (years ago and have never touched anything since) and it was a horrible experience. Maybe drug induced panic attacks are different, i don\'t know, but you most certainly have my sympathy and best wishes for recovering from each attack.

Yours is a frightening, compelling read into the dark side today.

I (BRIAN) have been overwhelmed by circumstances once or twice - trying to doo too many things at once ! I always STOP - have a tonic water - ask GOD to carry me over & through the crisis - and it works but it takes it toll !

I didn\'t put that hook thing myself in my comment - honest! Me laptop must speak French then. lol. A cedilla it is, to make \'c\' sound like \'s\'. Why not use \'s\' in the first place? doh! We must know these things. lol.

I\'ve worked for my caffeine, I deserve my caffeine and I\'m darn well going to have it. My bedtime tea: lemon and ginger with a teaspoon of honey. Other than that it\'s any good tea - in leaf form of course.

A Cup Of Tea
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

Ohhhhhh CHRISTINA ~ A very English Poem today ! Its 3pm here (UK) and at THREE ~ everything stops for TEA. I have just brewed a pot of Earl Grey in my Office (served in China Cup with a dash of milk) and a Digestive Biscuit ! The English Tea Ceremony is almost as elaborate as the Japanese ! Loose Tea brewed in a China Pot and the leaf strained through a Silver Tea Strainer ! I have all these accroutements in a Cupboard in My Office ! Tea is very different from Coffee and should be the first & last Drink of the DAY ! There are over 50 varieties of TEA each one with a fascinating Geography & History ~ Its never just TEA ! Angela (being Spanish !) likes Wine ~ Coffee & Tea in that order ! However she says my *English Tea Ritual* makes it taste a lot better ~ especially with a splash of BRANDY !

Blessing & Peace & Love to You ALL
Yours ANGELA & BRIANπŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ§‘

I am drinking a mug of earl grey tea as i read you today.
I too enjoy a variety of different teas which saves my palate from becoming too familiar with any particular blend/type.
Following Goldfinch\'s comment about decaf, i have never tried a decaf tea having decided that my decaf coffee experience was most disappointing.

I am English and certainly enjoy my cup of tea.. I\'m taking my first one today as I type to you.. more often a mug these days.. thats the vessel I drink from.. not a self explanatory description of my good self.. I do prefer it to coffee bu also like coffee, just in a different kind of way.. I like both strong and without milk or sugar... delicious and refreshing.. I also like cheese but that\'s a different story altogether.... I thoroughly enjoyed today\'s poetic serving by you Christina... AGT\'s

A Cup Of Tea
Goldfinch60 said:

We drink both tea and coffee. The tea we have is proper tea, none of this teabag nonsense, we have Rwanda/Burundi tea and it is wonderful.
I drink Colombian coffee and I grind the beans before using it.

I think this poem should have an \'18\' against it as you used a rude word, you said decaf - that is the devil\'s brew. LOL
