SM--A great write but don\'t give the reaper what he wants! As you say you are loved by many and in love with one! Enough reasons to stay attached to this world. You have a big heart and your children will see that as they grow up. Hard to see now, but I pray that you don\'t give in. Glad to see that you wrote today! Miss your writing!

S-M87,

A fine write expressing some regrets and not regarding oneself worthy!
I don’t know if this poem is referencing you or not, but we’re all worthy to live our lives the best we can! We all make mistakes! The important thing is that we hone up to them and try to do better! The strength is to deal the best way we can with what we’ve been dealt!

Let the reaper be gone unaccompanied! Peace is not what he’s offering!

S-M87,
Temptation is always tempting. It seems this temptation of yours is a good one...
“A calming warm consumes Through my veins”!
All you can think of is of whatever has tempted you! In this situation, it seems like a good thing! I particularly like the last two lines! Writing seems to help you!

A great write! I enjoyed reading it!

If this write is from personal experience, I admire you for being so strong and for being so kind to share it! Personal or not, I’m rooting for the children to be with their dad no matter how long it takes!

I agree, a very powerful write, one of the best I\'ve seen from you. All that you\'ve gone through, yet you have such a big heart! The world would truly grieve a guy called the \"simple man\". You\'ve been through so much, thank you for sharing this poignant piece with us!

Simple-Man, after I read the first two stanzas, I did not scroll down right away, just looked at them again and felt that this could be the whole poem already. Then I continued and it got better and better all the way to last line.
Great poem, beautiful rhyming, great structure.

Ahh sunflower! *Looks up Helianthus*. I sort of guessed - Helios = Sun. A fine write SM. Conveys comfort in seeing the beauty of the flower.
We have amaryllis. Big bulbs, dead for part of the year, then spring to life. Long green leaves with large red flowers.

SM,
A poem well written!
As I read it, I could feel the struggle within this individual...imaginary or real... it doesn’t matter! Throughout any trials and tribulations, we have to remain strong. As you said, “the Hero within, once again, will rise”!

SM,
This is heart wrenching! From a writer’s point of view, it’s beautifully written! The subject matter is very sad. I don’t know if you’re drawing from personal experience, but this individual is in pain. I hope he keeps fighting. He is worthy!
