IMMERSED IN TIME

Memories, recalled within the mind, and some are toxic reminders. We carry them with us throughout life, but it seems they choose when to pop up. I think your abstract looks like one of those ghosts trapped in a poisonous environment, yet it is still a beautiful thing. - Phil A.

THANKS MICHAEL ~ for caring & sharing. Love the abstract ~ it has what i call inner glow like many of the images from the Hubble Telescope. As both GF and Willy have noted the painting does draw one into the centre and creates a desire to explore. This (for me) is true of all the Hubble images ~ OK. Now to the poem ! That too is enigmatic and poses many questions and mysteries ~ a true enigma ~ about everything and nothing simultaneously ~ exploring the memories complex corridors ~ awesome ! Thanks for scaring ! Yours BRIAN

Similarly the picture is drawing me into it. Into where? Watch this space.

Perfecto! I love the door image. I know not why. Perhaps an open door represents hope, or the future. Great piece of art, both. - Phil A.

Short but sweet. The best things comes in small packages. I often think there are lots of poems that would be improved by being culled slightly.
This paints vivid image in just a few words. Well done.

Not a wine drinker, but I like your poem.Is this another form I don\'t know about, or one you created. It\'s very clever and probably hard to write. I did enjoy it though. - Phil A.

Interesting that you posted a GRAVEYARD with a wine poem. Cheers PH - this is the top of the High Road in Market Harborough. Just had a big row because BT removed a telephone box situated where the dark shadows are in this painting. After a great furore they have agreed to replace it. Oh the trials and tribulations of local politics.

Thanks MICHAEL ~ Two more HAIKU with gentle humour accompanied by a an equally gentle painting ! Thanks for caring and sharing. For JAPANESE HAIKU and SENRYU there are rules as strict as the EU ~ but we English have more laissez faire and subject is as important as style. So we aim for 5-7-5 but don\'t always achieve it ~ we are renowned globally for our humour and we like our ditties to rhyme so my HAIKU (and SENRYU) often break three GOLDEN RULES and I am careful never to visit JAPAN ! In your comment I think you committed the word NOT after the forth word. Like the infamous \"Sinners Bible\" which states the Seventh Commandment as THOU SHALT COMMIT ADULTERY ~ It sold out in a day ! Yours BRIAN Please check my Poem ~ Thanks B
