Actually Edward Lear is usually regarded as the gold standard when it comes to limericks but in my humble opinion he cheated. In the first and last lines he almost invariably used the same place name - talk about making it easy! Well I\'ve not fallen into that trap - yet!.

Both picture and verse show fervour for clarity\'s detailed minutia with their artistic peep into winter\'s beauty. A thoroughy engaging use of both word and form.

Leaving alone is so sad. But new direction is sought here. Relationship is now gently settling. Friendship is now formed with empathy and understanding. This is very beautiful poem.

I book into a cheap hotel
A nice surprise for her
We made love all night
And we did lay
Till morning and where
Late to stir
My love and i

I\'ve just woke up
Got a bit of eye
Exercise doing this.
Thanks...

I was not familiar with either and did look them up. Being more a traditionalist, it was not my thing. However your tribute to them is outstanding. Sunnyde M\'s comment is profund.
