I used to spend eternity in those moments, almost never leaving, eventually I learned to embrace and love them. Though now as I find they happen less frequently and it’s become harder to pull myself out of, I find I’d rather be happy. We all have our muse, it’s trying find it that makes the journey so tiresome. I love how relatable this is and it actually helped a little to pull me out of the one I’m currently in so thank you.

Very good and very true write Andrew, man is destroying our beautiful world and those who can do something about it do nothing as there is nothing in it for them.

As Neville said, seamlessly writ. We are scared sh.. of politically incorrect that it\'s stifling our expressive self, both harmless but even more the truly disturbed.
My trees all turned out to be vines, they grew too fast, and left the yard, but the roots are still my responsibility. Good subject to compose.
Thnx

Tis said in some circles that Nature has planed
That Names with their Poems agree
And ANDREW FORREST in manner so bland
Has offered an ODE to a TREE !
Thanks for sharing ANDREW ~ it makes sense ! I planted some Trees in my Youth (20 years ago) and now they are much taller than me. From little ACORNS ~ Mighty Oaks do grow ! In these austere days I now only plant FRUIT TREES & BUSHES ~ AMEN
Blessings & Fruitfulness

of life and loss
Suresh said:
Like LittleGift, I read it as a metaphor as well, but slightly different.
I thought he was talking about himself, that he was living with an illness, which had reached a stage where there was no cure anymore.
Anyways, very inspiring and draws the reader as is evident from many comments above.

HI ANDREW ~Thanks for sharing Poem & Pic. \"Light at the end of Tunnel\" is indeed a paradox. I always find there is never an end. Tunnel A always leads into Tunnel B and so on ad finitum !
I used to enjoy Fell walking ! One can see the Objective (The Summit) but there are many mini Summits before we attain our goal and say in the immortal words of Edmund Hillary to Sherpa Tensing
\"We ticked the Bu * * er off !\" C\'est la Vie ~
There are more TUNNELS than this World dreams of !
BLESSINGS ~ BRIAN & ANGELA 🧡🧡
