LITTER LOUTS ~A SALUTARY PANTOUM !
Dove said:

On rainy days, the litter somehow ends flowing through rivers, that funnel into the ocean!

Homeless people living by river edges, frequently litter, no fault there! Especially
When the rain washes away all their belongings! Ive seen plastic bags and clothes hanging on trees, it’s such a sad thing to See! Shopping carts in water too!
I must have seen 50 or so lined up by the street obviously being cleaned up! But
The rest of the trash that got through is terrible! Somewhere , there must be a trap! I dunno! Because it drains to the beaches!

ANGELA HERE - Good Friday Uncle ANDY ! Every Cloud has its Silver Lining - even C 19 Lockdowns. Because I was an NHS Physio I had to be in the Clinic most weekdays I saw how much more Pristine the Countryside & the Town was. Almost as itter-free as Singapore ! Brian & I have a litter box in the car and always take our litter home ! Open Air Rock Concerts are the worst. They even found a BABY once clearing up ! The Young Hippie Parents were very embarassed when they came to collect HIM ! Like you we are appalled just how *Litter Loutish* many people are ! Thanks for your comment !

Blessings & Joy to You & Yours
Love Angela - Brian - Smokey ! ! !

It was so good during the start of lockdown when people were restricted from going out to see so little litter in the park by My River when I walked along it every day.

Every time we have moved, we have accumulated more things! Down sizing is coming!
What great souls you are! Love the library for all those books! I inherited records collection, helping an old man clean his apartment!

I\'ve downsized for later on. It\'s an old tea chest from the Co-op for me, with me in it! Doh!
Even Co-op is too expensive. They laughed (heehee) and opened a store near new houses and put prices up. The only shop in sight for a mile or three.

Now that I am on my own my children ask me if I am going to move and my response is, \"The next time I move will be when you carry me out in my wooden box.
I have too much \'stuff\' to move into a smaller abode and \'stuff\' is important. I would struggle to get my music collection and me in a smaller place, music is my lifesaver so I will not get rid of it.

HIGHEST MOUNTAINS IN THE UK ~ A PANTOUM !
Dove said:

Downhill is tricky\' I broke my ankle just twisting it at a incline! And it was just a hill \' no mountain!
Hiking is fun! But mountains are out of my league these days! The last incline looked pretty steep \' I was crawling like a coyote on all fours! Love the poem

A hugely comforting write and hymn B&A. Ahh, the 10.10. metre there!
Not just because we may not like to hear or accept some things that men are saying, but it\'s true that \'The word of the Lord shall stand for ever\'. We are as grass and flowers. Aww - and why they call me a \'worm\'?! lol. (I read a little on \'worm theology\').

BRIAN HERE Good Morning Uncle Mike - Evening Class (A - Level Chemistry Revision - always a delight) so *Home Alone with Smokey* ! I envy the retirees in this situation because the ON / OFF syndrome for Education & Commerce is upsetting. Most College Stuents (even those with Specific Needs) are responsible. As you say Meetings al-fresco meet the rules but the weather will soon be Wintery *Now is the Winter of our Discontent !*

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours

Thanks B&A.
At least some boring \'Staff meetings\' can\'t be held in person. Sometimes 2 hours of waffling (necessary I suppose). Or worse \'Team Building events\', most of which I find completely naff!

GLASGOW MA IN FANTASY ~ IDEAL STUDY FOR RETIRED MEMBERS !
Trenz Pruca said:

I love Glasgow. Spent much time at the school of art with my friend who was the director at the time. I was there while they were scrubbing the black soot-covered buildings to reveal the lovely warm red brick underneath. Loved Arbroath also. I forget the name of that marvelous victorian estate built by a man who trained local workers in the necessary craft. One day we visited an estate where the Pre-Rafielites spent their summers that was being restored by a wealthy American. We discovered Dante Rosetti\'s paintbox in a closet that had not been cleaned out yet. The artists had painted portraits of themselves on the walls by the stairs.

ANYONE FOR TENNIS ? A PARODY !
Goldfinch60 said:

Good parody but I have played them all, I was even Kent Youth Club Tennis Champion back in the sixties, I played table tennis for 30 years, never got to County level but played for the town.

I am going to mention Cricket though, I used to play that as well and well remember sitting in front of the tv for five days when Test Cricket was on the BBC.
