CHRISTMAS P R E S E N C E ~ A PANTOUM
The Uneducated O.A.P said:

Presence does it for us, every time, my family and extended family don\'t do the Jesus thing, we have never felt the need. But if it works for you then that\'s O.K.
Does Smokey get a wrapped pressie. Our daughter always did, and still does the family dog a Christmas present.
Have fun.

Enjoyed the read but currys not for me or the wife, she says ime hot enough for her, curries always look like something that\'s already been eaten and let go, rapidly sometimes.
A good roast for us, every time.

Unsurprisingly I too enjoy, and make, curries. Had a nice surprise the other week, a friend of mine asked me to join him for a curry as his new lady friend let him down, had a good evening in his local Indian restaurant, as I was driving did not have any alcohol but after the bill was paid the manager gave us a brandy each, my friend was a regular there and the manager always appreciated him going there.

as you would probably expect (Jeanne hails from Burma) I do like Burmese curry which is quite different to the Indian styles in choice of spices and the use of fish sauce.

Gone are the days of real bum burner curries for me. It did seem to burn coming out the other end of me too... took the glace off the toilet pan... we had to place barbed wire around the toilet seat in case anyone fell in.
Yes i couldn\'t face a phall curry, i\'ve tried most of the variations over the years and now a chicken biryani in a good restaurant is my pleasure along with a peshwari naan.... mind you I havent been near a restaurant since my recent digestive problems.

Enjoyed reading your light hearted and funny piece today.

At least Brian and Angela you were able to get married. Just think of Princess Beatrice and her wedding a couple of months.

I wish you two the best and many years of married blessings and bliss.

God has kept you both safe and healthy during this virus.

May he continue to do so.

Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.

Me and the missus kept one job and lost one, but feel beyond blessed to have what we have... a little house and a back yard and a front porch with a swing. So many have an apartment full of family, with nary a balcony or stoop, and our city is packed with rough sleepers because the weather is fair in winter and the city is relatively accepting. Thank you silly pair for sharing your fortune and joy as best you can. I try to give something every day. It\'s the best part of having, the giving.

How are you my friends? This is a great write and very informative. Still, I feel that we are good enough friends for me to be honest with you. I generally leave wasps alone. In fact in is quite foolish to try and kill one by yourself. Still, when they become to much of a nuisance, and may harm others, then they must go. Wasps are very important creatures, yes. Nevertheless, they can cause harm to others.
(Sigh)
Sadly, such is life.
Again, this a very good informative piece.
Persistence is key

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF WASPS ? ~ AN AFFIRMATIVE PANTOUM !
dusk arising said:

Oh yes, wasps do exist for a reason. They provide us with a very satisfying little crunching noise as you tread them underfoot.
I had a wasps nest in the soil beneath my front hedgerow last year and they were such a pest. I built wasp traps as per youtube instructions which the wasps ignored and instead those traps filled to overflowing with flies.
Back in the nineties the garage became home to an amazing nest hanging from the roof beams. The destroyer man said it was the largest he had ever seen.... but a few puffs of his amazing chemicals and all was quiet.

LIVERPOOL ~ SILENCED BY COVID 19 ~ AN ACROSTIC EULOGY
ANGELA & BRIAN said:

GOOD AFTERNOON FRIEND ~ *YOU*LL NEVER WALK ALONE* ! That is the ANTHEM from CAROUSEL which LIVERPOOL FC have adopted as their theme song. There is no experience like it with a Full House singing it especially when Liverpool are winning by three or four lucky GOALS ! Because all Scoucers have some Irish or Welsh Blood we can all sing in tune & four part harmony ! We dont sound like an *Out of tune Choir* of ORCHIDEES ! It is a ver appropriate SONG for this PANDEMIC ! *YOU*LL NEVER WALK ALONE* sums up the Liverpool Attitude to LIFE ~ COMRADESHIP *One for All & All for One* Thanks for the reminder I have swapped YESTERDAY for YNWA ~ AMEN !

Blessings & Joy & Peace to You & Yours
