It\'s with great courage you soldier on bolstered by your beliefs and strongly held faith. Giving so generously of yourself. You are indeed a remarkable human being and we are lucky to be blessed with your words and attention here on mps.... soincerely meant.

Gold , that was really really heart wrenching to read. Tough moments to part from our loved one.
But yes, we have memories to cherish the time spent with her. Those are a treasure and a booster dose to move ahead in such situations. Well written and really touching !!

Very emotional write dear Andy
I always wonder how she was
And then through your poetry i can actually feel the presence of her
She was a lovely lady
And your love is eternal
One day you shall reunite again
But for now mps shall stall you for sometime to hear the wonderful tales and experiences of your life
Felt teary after reading this poetry
But could feel true love

Like medals on our chest, our memories as we age are the reward for a life \'lived\'...... a possession we can reach out and grasp, hold dearly and know, it is something which makes us who we are.

Ah those heady younger days when life seemed so full of fun and promise and we made our own entertainment for free. A time made even more special if like yourself we had good friends to share it with. Beautiful words my friend. ☺🍻

Such A Lucky Man.
dusk arising said:

You are a lucky man because you see the positive and the beauty all around you. With a different mindset you could equally see the negatives and consider yourself the unlucky one but that is not you, not the way your mind works.

I share much of the same outlook as you.

It\'s plain to see on MPS we have writers of both ilks.

You phrase your life in such grateful words Andy and we can all follow your fine example of looking at the gifts of Nature and enjoying our days more by appreciation - - lovely thoughts and thank you for sharing them.

Trials Of Life.
spilleronsheet said:

Positive words and a true retrospection makes a man rise from fall again
Those are powerful words
The essence of life
Loved the ending
So well stringed together
“ If there was not a price to pay in our lives for those trials,

We would not know that we learned something through them.”

Great reflective write Andy. Thankfully Jeanne\'s problems seem to be being addressed and we have hope for my son whose business is in dire straits thanks to covid but on reflection I do believe we will all pull through. Currently listening to some erdhu music - so relaxing and a great way to calm the mind.

But meanwhile - what about me singing \'trials\'? They\'re a trial to me tutor. I\'ve learnt nothing through them. Not learnt how to sing better anyway! lol.
Why tutor say to me: \'If at first, or after a thousand times, you don\'t succeed - give up!\' heehee.

dusk arising said:

Had a real hammer blow long time ago which made me e-evaluate everything. Turning upside down a lot of things i thought i had the measure of. Am I the better for it... I think so, but I am biased after all.
I think it has made me more resilient and able take things life throws at me in a more measured manner. I count my blessings as being fortunate for the way i live, think and communicate and most of all I am thankful for having a positive outlook.

Excellent writing from you today Andy..... very thought provoking especially fot those hoping to change a few things as the approaching new year seems to create a milestone from which to start in a lot of minds. Start gently would be my advice and don\'t be put off by things if you trip-up, just get up, dust yourself down and start again on your path.
