Swarm of Fiats.

A fine write Gold. I knocked Skodas, then someone (was it you?) said \'I drove one of them!\'
What was the transport like in 1066?

A swarm of Fiats - it reminds me of when I travelled in East Germany just as they started pulling down the wall - we went into a square full of Trabants which the East Germans were trying to sell. Fine write Andy.

Is what you write really true Andy?

Good number though, Ah! Joe Meek....
Fabulous session player Clem Cattini drummed on this one in Joe\'s flat. Clem has played on hundreds of charted records including (I think) 41 No 1\'s. He\'s known for his modesty though, he never bangs on about it.

Thanks for sharing UNCLE ANDY ! Angela & I expect to still be around in 2080 so we have to take politics seriously and vote for the best local MPS for our Community ! Uncosted Policies for Health ~ Education & Community etc are worthless. But unlike many Countries in the World we are still a Democracy & A Monarchy ! Whether we REMAIN or BREXIT the UK is still one of the most stable Countries to live in ~ in the UNIVERSE ! AMEN !

Andy,

Yes, music and words...
the cleansing of emotions!
It takes some time to accomplish,
but it can be done!

Reading your writing is always helpful.
Thank you for sharing.

My love to Joyce and to you!

It has been written many times that writing poetry is a kind of self therapy. It certainly is for me and quite plain that it is for several others on here.

I think that placing our own words into poetry somehow orders our thoughts on a subject. The same might be said of personal prayer too. Although i seem to have hit a dry spell in my writing i am confident that, like you, i shall continue to commit my life thoughts into the written word upon a page.

Andy,

I’m so sorry to hear that Joyce has become very ill. Reading your words has brought tears to eyes. This truly saddens me!

Your decision, together with the Doctor’s, is a wise one. Making her as comfortable as possible is the best way! I will be thinking of her with the hope that she’s not suffering too much!

My love to Joyce and to you!

You are a very strong, positive and outwardly brave man Goldfinch. Life deals us some awful blows and we have to take them on the chin.
Whereas I feel a great deal of sympathy for you at this sad time I also admire you for the way in which you are addressing your situation.

Our paths have led us through great adventure in bringing us to here. The path yet leads on ahead and must be travelled.

It\'s bad enough, and sad enough, with a pet, if we have to say \'goodbye\' to them at a vets - let alone a person.

A sensitive write Gold. I saw a medical programme. An unwell person asked for no \'heroics\'. A nurse said \'Ah, I think I know what you mean, if you.....\'
I don\'t know where my faith would be, if I was in your situation. People still pray on - prayer AND medicine?

I should have held that famous arrow in my teeth in 1066, not given it to the guy with his bow. All may have been well if I had done so.
Though there are wonderful \'Mouth Painters\'. Some cards arrived from them in the post. I\'m being Scrooge in not donating - but I never asked for the cards in the first place, and they are quite expensive too.

Thanks for sharing UNCLE ANDY ~ sharing your humour in the light of adversity is a great Blessing and example to ALL of us ! We are very pleased that you are SATISFIED with Joyces Care Home & the TLC she is receiving ~ as you know so many are denied that satisfaction and their LOVED ONE ends up in a most unsatisfactory situation. We are exhorted to count our BLESSINGS ! Joyce is settled in a lovely place (Gardens are important !) near enough for you to be able to visit regularly. The humour in this Poem encourages us that ~ athough you have lost much this SAD YEAR ~ We are happy with you that your SENSE OF HUMOR is still intact ~ AMEN ! Love the video ~ Very SOOTHING ~ Visually & Aurally ! Very Sunday Morning !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOUR BELOVED JOYCE
Love & Prayer ~ BRIAN 🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚🧡
