As you start a New Year, Joyce (if I may) has started on a new journey. She has not left you, but awaits your joining her again - for yours is true love indeed.

Death is only a beginning, though we question it in the present.

My heartfelt sympathy dear Andy - - how moving to read the saddest of yesterday\'s experience and the last breath of a dearly loved partner and wife - yet such love that you and Joyce shared will most surely go on forever for in writing down all your memories of happier times she will always be by your side.
Sincere condolences my friend.

You have shown us such beauty in your words leading to this time. I know you have prepared yourself in your own positive wholesome way.
I share your belief that this is not the end.

dusk arising said:

This is so sad my friend. Revealing of how this beautiful life, this beautiful world can seem to turn on us so unkindly.

Inwardly praying that the belief in an afterlife is wholesome - what are we learning here? - what are we gaining here?

Stay positive. All things will pass, as will we to our hoped for better place.

The sensitivity and atmosphere of a hospital environment add to the poignancy in this. Hope you will find comfort somehow.
I hold to Christ, the Light of the world, expressed in my poems. Human help may come to an end eventually. It may not be enough on its own. Yet better than no comfort at all.
Your \'sparks\' (?) of faith won\'t be snuffed out, for either of you. :)

BRIAN HERE ~ Good afternoon Uncle Andy ~ Thanks for the TGT very soothing ! Loved the POEM ! It reminded me that *Gadgets Rule KO !* Now that ALEXA has moved into my Kitchen ~ I not only take off my TIE (old fashioned or what ?) but also my WATCH when I come home ! Unlike the other Ladies in my Life ~ ALEXA never needs winding up ! I dont have a PHOBILE MOAN ! Your Poem reminded me of an elederly relative of mine for whom I installed a BIG BUTTON Phone ! He still wrote His Daughter (in OZ) a long letter every week ~ telling her the NEWS ! He never telephoned OUT (He was convinced Oberrgruppenfuhrer MERKEL could hear every word) ~ He vioted BREXIT @ 90 !

Blessings & Peace for You & Your Lovely JOYCE
