Move Forward - Tanka.

ANGELA HERE - Thanks for caring UNCLE ANDY - We both love Beethoven ! Appassiona very frenetic ~ almost the BUM of the Flightel BEE ! Big contrast to the Moonlight at the beginning !
CARPE DIEM ! We dont get many TANKAS and they do presnt an opportunity to amplify the SENRYU (or HAIKU) which is their role !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOUR Beloved JOYCE !

Andy,

You had tears flowing down your face as you were writing this ...
I had tears flowing down my face as I read it!
It reminded me of the night my mom decided to give up her earthly existence and let her spirit fly to join my dad’s! I sat next to her and her last words to me were, β€œLet me go. Don’t cry. Just sit next to me. Everything will be alright!” I fell asleep with my head next to hers as she quietly slipped away! I feel cheated in the sense that we never said goodbye! That is what I constantly think about...and the tears flow uncontrollably!

I know if she were here she would tell me to stop the crying and to get over it!
I do try to listen, but it’s not easy!

My love to Joyce and to you!
I do think of her a lot!

~Laura~

A fine write Gold. Yes, and \'tomorrow\' never comes. When it gets here, it\'s always \'today\'.
Did I muck it up in 1066? - those who gave their \'today\' that we might have our \'tomorrow\'. No tomorrow for Harold! Doh!

Oh yes how I curse them and there are many about.
I have so many gripes my current being those who don\'t know the rules at roundabouts - especially those still indicating right as they leave and those who don\'t indicate left when they are alongside the exit which is the one before they ibntend to leave. Lots of grrrrs

ANGELA HERE - Good Morning UNCLE ANDY - Thanks for DIZZY excellent a very smooth HORN ! I loved last Christmas in the Sun in Auckland - New Zealand - BUT - I was 11,500 miles away form BRIAN and it hurt - It gives me a glimpse of your separation from Your Beloved Joyce. Thanks for sharing your aching Heart with us. Your loving relationship with JOYCE is always a great inspiration to Brian & I who will be just starting out on our Married Life in 2020 ! Never be ashamed to shed a tear in a lovely Poetry Group like MPS - we are ALL here for each other - Poetry is always CATHARTIC ! AMEN !

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOUR BELOVED JOYCE

orchidee said:

It\'s horrible time for some folk, we know, whether their situation is better or worse than yours - loneliness, etc, the long break of the holidays (for some anyway).
Or maybe saying - the good old days, but not now?
I hope there is some small spark at least in your heart, of the true meaning of Christmas. :)
