The Croquet Myth.
Fay Slimm. said:

Shivering as I take in your descriptive lines of how to get ready for Croquet in winter dear brave Andy - -- (P.S. I hope the floods have veered round your lawn so you wont need a boat to top all those clothes.) Love your sense of fun and thanks too for sharing the wonderful music.

I nice rhyming poem from you, today, Andy. It is my understanding that Laphroaig is for medicinal purposes only!

By way of honest critique I feel that your final line was a little too long and forced. It may benefit by dropping the first four syllables and ending in a question mark. Leave \'em wanting more.

dusk arising said:

As you know I was diagnosed with a cancer last year and went through chemo/radiotherapy. I know that she has endured and thankfully survived probably the biggest mental and physical battle of her life.
And yes, it certainly does change you when you have confronted how this beast can take away everything including your last breath.
I wish much joy to your friend and many years of good health ahead.

Yes, true as Alan says. A huge relief.
Meanwhile - I say four words. It plunges people into utter despair, with no hope of freedom: \'I will now sing!\' lol.

Angela here - Good Morning Uncle Andy - Clinic @ 11pm (weekend accidents !) glad I caught this one ! Love the KOOL JAZZ - Lifts my Spirits for Casualty ! Love the POEM. Shades of FROST *The Road not taken*

I shall be telling this - with a sigh
Somewhere Ages and Ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood and I -
I took the one less travelled by
And that has made - all the difference !

Esta la Vida - Andy our lives are defined
by the Choices we make & the Paths we take !
Especially the Path up to the Altar ~ AMEN !

More rabbit than sainsbury\'s??? I used to have a famous photo of the mum in law... we reckoned it had been taken with a really fast shutter speed.... it was the only time i\'d seen her with her mouth shut.

Anyway, now that i\'ve had my dig at the fairer sex.... do you feel enriched by the content of your phone call?

A good fun read this morning.... its blowing a gale already here 07.30 and they reckon we are in for much stronger wind again in a couple of hours.

Good Evening Uncle ANDY ! A great truism *Laff and the World laffs with you ~ cry and you cry alone !* Loved the centered shape of this poem almost human (female) with a Mary Poppins Hat. We love the *Pianos in Public Places* syndrome ~ WICKED ! I (BRIAN) have several very competent Pianists (incuding my Dad) in my Extended Family ! They can play Classic - Spiritual - Pop & Jazz etc ! If not in a hurry ~ they often perform on a Public Joana !
We loved the video ! Pianist - Punk & Poppins ! It sure made us laff ! When we go to London (for whatever reason !) we like to go to Covent garden ~ for a cheap lunch ~ and to listen to the prfessional buskers ~ excellent. Having enjoyed a cheap lunch ( > ยฃ10 wth a drink) we always a have a bit of small change for the HAT ! Thanks again for sharing ~ AMEN
