THNAKS FOR ANOTHER GEM UNCLE ANDY ! Love the Nocturne one of my favourite pieces of soul soothing music ! Love the advice in your elegant ODE ! To deal with situations ~ AS THEY ARISE ~ and then to move ONWARDS & UPWARDS ~ We know it makes sense ! Angela have Faith in GOD and always optimistic ! WE have no regrets and deal with situations AS and WHEN they arrive. We have planned our WEDDING for next Year (if I can extract ANGELA for AUCKLAND ~ I have booked in for a WHOLE WEEK) in an Evangelical Church ~ Honeymoon in SEVILLA and a Blessing in the Catholic Cathedral ~ Buying or renting a House in Essex and starting a Family ~ AND THEN ~ WHO KNOWS ? Much could go wrong between now & next Summer ! Your testimony & example against adversity ~ Prepares us to face everything & anything ~ with *A Wing & A Prayer* AMEN

A fine write Gold. Is thinking dangerous? Or too much of it? Well, it was, when I thought too much in 1066, then said to Harold...….heehee.

Do you pronounce themetal aloominum or al-you-min-ium. I had a technical chat with an american man long ago about aluminium content of something and our convo was illuminating.

Andy,

A short and sweet tanka complemented by an extraordinary video!
After listening to my aunt crying with pain for a few hours, reading your delightful poem and listening to the musical video was heavenly! Thank you for sharing!

Hmmm hitch hikers.... i\'m reluctant. You just dont know what you are inviting into your car.
Apart from that, when i tried hitching a lift in my younger days i was mostly out of luck... i\'m big guy and probably looked like trouble.
Loved your piece today. I didn\'t see the punchline coming and it did raise a laugh. Thank you.

Ha ha.. I thought this was going to be a take on Douglas Adams novels... I certainly was not expecting the punchline... I expect the chances would be pretty slim.. but who knows... the most successful serial killers, are those who have not been caught........ we could be surrounded by them..... what a bloomin thought........
