Stuff.
Michael Edwards said:

I can honestly say that we have little stuff. When my parents passed away we vowed that we wouldn\'t leave such a legacy for our children - two very large skip loads. When we moved to our present address we took the view that if we didn\'t use it we didn\'t need it. Our house is very minimalist, easy to maintain and very modern ( no brown furniture for us). In fact the only place the children will need to sort out will be the studio with piles of equipment and paintings etc. Love the write.

Tell me about it! If only my \'stuff\' were inspirational i would write all day.
Once upon a time i was 18 living in a bedsit, where did all this stuff come from. I blame eBay.

That\'s a touching write G honest and painful...
I have questioned too over the yearsand you are right, there are rarely any answers other that from yourself.
I have lately come to think of god as love and it is love that will take care of us sometime from our nearest and sometimes from strangers.
A dear friend once said to me \"It\'s OK not to be OK\"
I hope you find the strength to keep your faith.

Life is sadly unjust and although I don\'t share your faith I know what it means to you and I hope it never deserts you.

A good write in a way Gold. Sometimes we may be too \'twee\'. Or we can have \'pat\' or \'text-book\' answers to things such as \'Why suffering is allowed?\' Experiencing the reality of them may often be different. And it\'s more than us just having \'off-days\' or feeling grumpy towards God, life in general, etc.
Yet you, as the Psalmists in some Psalms, seek to find a way through it, not in a sense that \'God owes us one\' nor \'He should reward me for my good deeds to Him\'.

I bet you are selective about the poems you hand over. Some people inspire with their negative vibes or anti social behaviour.
\'Here\'s a poem i wrote about you whilst observing you across the coffee room\'
\'You what mate... you being funny.... you want a slap or something?\'
Discretion ... a poets tool!

Sorry if it seemed too harsh. Why go to the group then? one may ask. Well, it was my first and last visit to that particular group. Another one was better, but not been for a while.

A fine write Gold. I sort of \'gave\', well shared, a poem with a group. It did not go down too well. It was on an evangelistic theme. I fell asleep during the rest of that evening, with dour and dreary stuff, pretending I enjoyed it. doh!

Did England as we know it actually exist in 1066? Cornwall refused to be a part of england for a long time. Would be fun to think parts of our history showed a resistence to European invaders which has re-emerged in our Brexit of today.
One in the eye for a second referendum.
