Thanks for KARYOKE HYMN Uncle Steve : Excellent. I was raised CATHOLIC and we do (in Faith) Baptise Infants and select GODPARENTS who will nurture their FAITH ! In the EVANGELICAL CHURCH (in the UK) where Brian & I attend (My Parents are Happy about that !) they DEDICATE and when a Person is converted they BAPTISE them by IMMERSION : AMEN. If we have Children : we will dedicate them : BUT we will also choose GODPARENTS for them OK ! Its 11 pm here. Tired after a DAY of SUN & FUN :

Hi Gold. I\'ve come across sung Psalms in some low or middle Anglican churches. Not that they get far though, as I explained. Some have changed to saying them, which is better. Otherwise it can sound like dirges.

Love the title! It reminds me of the ceremonial processions that took place in my Italian hometown where I was born! As a child, I was in awe to see and sometimes participate (along with my great grandmother) in those processions! Many alleluias were sung along the way!
