Thanks for comment N. I\'m not seeking to paraphrase the Bible. I have to accept it as it is - the \'awkward\' bits as well as the \'nice\' bits. I try to incorporate words and phrases into lines of poetry.
It would just be \'copying out Bible verses\' if it was verbatim.
Some don\'t like the theme of people being \'sheep\' - but it says we are. We are lots of other things too, metaphorically!

I have a question. Are you revising certain phrases in the bible?

Was actually singing it to the tune as I read this one - but as I am a bit tune deaf I didn\'t get it to quite fit all the time. My fault not yours I hasten to add..

Question: How do I add a music video to my entry? I tried copying and pasting the embed code into the place for it, but it doesn’t show up on the page. I must be missing a step in the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. – Accidental Poet.

Thanks Santita. Yes, it\'s based on a passage by St Paul. He gets very involved at times, gets into \'full-flow\'! Also, I had to leave out occasional \'joining\' words, in places - such as \'and\' or \'to\', etc, or it would throw the tune out of order! It\'s a bit repetitive in places too.

So the true Porchi outs at last. I warn you if you come near my scotch I will come and take all your pork pies. I was with you back in time and I did tell you not to strike that match as that \"BIG BANG\" started something that has never stopped.

I think we moved over from the same site when it shut down, orchidee ... a blessing in disguise I would say! It didn\'t begin to compare with this one in my humble opinion. Enjoyed this delve into a free style of poetry. It allows one more spontaneous expression than following a specific format, doesn\'t it.
