Wow, how to answer that? I\'m gobsmacked that of all people with tasty skills such as yourself your pen has waned and left you to the floor. Get back up now or I\'ll be paying you a visit with a new pen !!

It\'s a \'towering\' piece if it\'s the one I think it is. If it\'s not that piece, I\'m probably talking rubbish again! lol.
Do you know the Widor piece too? I\'m no expert - it\'s a Fugue of his I think.

A fine write Gary. Opposite to the worlds\' system - \'Serve yourself; put self first; get more for self; forget everyone else; trample all over them\', etc.

Googling this to find the monstrous story behind it. A fine descriptive write Gary. \'A millstone cast about one\'s neck, and..... for harming little ones\'?

Deep, very deep. I sense beauty of expression amidst coldness. What is the background to this poem? Thanks for sharing.

Wow you said it amazing internal rhyme and rhyme scheme, the description sublime with the effective impressive word choice. Is this the wooden statue that is made of Jesus Christ that u were referring to? Kudos.

Nice to read from u again,
Pleez do review/comment my newest poem too . Best wishes,

A \'lovely\' write in a way Gary. Well, in the sense that we benefit from Christ\'s Passion. The Presentaion of Christ in the Temple/Candelmas is Feb 2nd. Do you observe it in R.C. Church? The aged Simeon said to Mary then \'And a sword will pierce your own soul also\' - the suffering she would experience, as here.
Meanwhile - them wooden pews will catch alight one day, with all those candles! Candlelight Services are hazardous too.

High Face Crimes

A fine write Gary. I\'m sure it didn\'t mean going to extremes - \'If one smites you on the right cheek, offer him the left cheek also\' but Christ didn\'t add \'And let him give you a good beating too!\' doh!

A fine write Gary, as I try to unravel it. I lost the plot, and ended up with stone jars - amphora! lol.

Thanks Orchidee! We’re old only in body correct? Spiritually - we’re just boys - children looking for ever new experiences with all the rest of our mates (other boys and girls).

Would They Lock Me Up?
orchidee said:

A fine write Gary. I was going to do a poem of similar title, relating to me singing (was I? lol). Erm, the answer would be \'Yes\'. Aww, why they lock me up in a sound-proof room? I was only trying to sing! lol

A fine write Gary. I suppose I differ somewhat with my Protestant background.
I\'m uneasy about \'Prayers to Mary\' tacked on to the end of some High-Church Anglo-Catholic services.
