TRUTH be told, it\'s getting harder and harder to find

You will not find it in a book written by man/men thousands of years ago thats for sure. Even if you overlook the hundreds of mistranslated words in it.

How to Lie with Euphemisms
orchidee said:

I can see the (Roman?) Catholic side of this. Protestant would agree - or me anyway, at least 95% of the time. Difficult if the person will be borne severely disabled, etc, yet still a person.
Meanwhile - a lighter vein - I gotta find out what a euphemism is exactly, so I dunno if I\'m lying with it, or what? Is it summat I can cook up for Sunday lunch?Am I uneducated?! I will go back to sleep - or back to the dictionary. lol.

A Sign

A fine write Gary. Erm, I didn\'t help myself though. I tried holding my breath for 24 hours. I didn\'t feel very well afterwards. Hmm, strange that! Well, I was only trying to save some air in this sometimes wasteful day-and-age. Heehee.
I\'ve a line of a poem somewhere \'Help me not always pray it away\'.

A fine write Gary, very poetic.
You will know I would adapt such a poem to the Protestant side, but no matter.

What a nice tale this tells. I enjoyed the pacing and the word choice. Scenery was nice too. Well done.

Wow, how to answer that? I\'m gobsmacked that of all people with tasty skills such as yourself your pen has waned and left you to the floor. Get back up now or I\'ll be paying you a visit with a new pen !!

It\'s a \'towering\' piece if it\'s the one I think it is. If it\'s not that piece, I\'m probably talking rubbish again! lol.
Do you know the Widor piece too? I\'m no expert - it\'s a Fugue of his I think.
