That\'s interesting that you were a gallery owner and a framer , this frame I made from some mounding I bought at the local lumber yard and painted the middle part so it kind of looks like two frames , good fun . Thanks Fred fun comments

WL, I don\'t see anything \'silly\' in this poem. On the contrary, it is inspiring, a parable, a metaphor, with some humor thrown in for good measure. And the painting is awesome! And whoever framed it, did an excellent job (I used to own a gallery and frame shop a long time ago!).

You described nature so beautifully. I believe nature is a constant love making. So pure. Your painting is beautiful too.

WL, I love your poem (and the painting) not only because it is so well written, but because it conjures up additional imagery. On one hand there is the bird feeding on the flower and on the other hand there is tender lovemaking, beautifully expressed.

Great poem, WL! Incredible how you can cram so much into just a few lines, AND got it to rhyme as well!
Am not so sure about that \'ladies man\' thing though.

Return to the meadow
myself and me said:

The lonesome tree, standing there, with hope, with expectation, with its arm open, is waiting.
\"and if you returned to the meadow
I wonder what I would say \"
Nothing but hold her tight.
a melancholy paint with a melancholy poem.
