Grieving... Again

I lost my wife six months ago so I know that grief but I came across some words recently that certainly helped me:
\"When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind.\"

Grieving... Again

I have never lost someone i am really close to. I can empathise with the feeling in your writing today though. In writing about your feelings and those you\'ve lost there will be a healing. Each word, respectfully penned, a heartfelt tribute to the love shared.
Do keep writing, don\'t post it all on mps, but keep writing, let your feelings flow.

Thank you EDWARD for an excellent Rhyming Acrostic (difficult form) but it also has lots of Rhythm and is also - in essence - a 3 - 6 - 5 Sonnet.
Love the content - do we ever learn from our MISTAKES? WE could have been better prepared in the UK (especially with regard to PPE) but the LOCKDOWN has been effective (even though we hate it) in slowing the spread of COVID 19. Because of this we may be able to make some small concessions in JUNE. Reopening - Garden Centres - Small Shops - Primary Schools etc etc ! We may be required (like extras in a Cowboy Film) to all wear Face Masks ! It will take Months to develope a suitable Vaccine and a full return to Normality will not be in 2020 ! Angela & I are both Young 32 & 36 so we trust that we will be better prepared NEXT TIME ! Thanks for sharing - Please check our Poem today *BLUEBELLS* Thanks A & B.
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love ANGELA & BRIAN 💛💛💛

We are ruled by our emotions, and there is no logic to 99% of contentions we face.
So, like you, we need to find a personal space to reflect and hopefully deflect that which is negative energy.
Your poetic expression best reflects that.

The words are so appealing in this expression of coping with stress - and those final lines give a positive way of looking at outcomes. Thanks for sharing this written reliever with us Edward.

Great poem, Edward! We always concentrate on the ones hard of hearing, never on the ones who have to live with it.
In my case, I just have selective hearing! :-)

Such an honest admittance of frustrations Edward - - hearing clearly is of great value and problems when sound gets muzzy are a challenge to all concerned. An engaging read - welcome back to this friendly poetry site and am hoping to read more of your poetic work soon.

Good write. I shouldn\'t jump from normal speech to yelling in one go. But if they don\'t hear after, oh about 4,357 times, you\'ll be frustrated to yell!
