Broken Can Still Heal
L. B. Mek said:

it is empowering to other\'s when they see or read examples of people\'s unfaltering self-belief, as that is a key component of the prerequisite requirement we demand of our potential heroes...

There is light at the end of the tunnel. And the light you certainly will. May you find the light, love and life you seek! I enjoyed your poem.

This is well written... The last verse seems quite abrupt. I want to know more... What happened? Very intriguing.

Cold to the World

Well written. I often find myself being less tactful than I probably should be. I\'m a very direct person and I\'ve found that some people take it as rudeness. I still care and have empathy but in situations where I feel the person brought their hardship on themselves through obvious bad decisions, I have a hard time being very sympathetic. Great post!

I loved the simplicity and honesty of this poem. No superfluous embellishments, just your message behind aging. It was great!

This felt like such a bittersweet poem to read. Like time just passes and there\'s nothing we can do about it, we forget things and we try to remember but nothing can ever be recollected perfectly. Then again, that\'s okay because we needs to keep living in the past and keep thinking about everything that happened when there\'s still so much more to come.

I Remember
smallest_stars said:

What a lovely poem. The rhythm of it was still good and as was the imagery.

My favorite part:

“Oh yes, I remember.
Those old, wonderful days.
But never shall I ever,
see them in their old ways”

This speaks to me. It’s the beauty and yet Reality of life, I think and you said it so well.

Well done!
