At Festival
L. B. Mek said:
\'Make it enjoyment
Not a quiet funeral\'
\'Taste the food and
Use jugs for drinks\'
\'X factors are talking!
Yes, we will miss this
Zone of comfort soon.\'
Brilliant!
(what a tranquil, meditative
appreciation and mourning
for those brilliantly bright
yet, effervescent
highlight mementos
of our far too - fleeting, Now
of life...)
Great execution!

Heart Decides
L. B. Mek said:
...how I mourn, feel of your skin
that still lingers
like your fingertips, on my heart...
(a wonderfully succinct write, dear poet
forgive me
but I couldn\'t help try and add a few lines
to showcase, just how much I relate)
thanks for sharing..
Happy world poetry day!

Pray For Me
L. B. Mek said:
trust in yourself, dear poet
choose to believe
whatever deity you follow
made no mistake
in giving you a chance
at experiencing, life
cherish that chance, dream Big
aim high and strive
to find the best You
you have it in you, to be
and live the rest
in the hands of faith and hope
for there is so much in life
we can\'t control..
all we need do, is our part
the rest we need to just let go
what\'s not meant to be
was never meant, to be
and that\'s just fine..
it\'s just us getting, one step closer
to finding, all those things
meant for us..
(stay strong, stay humble
and remember to smile
and appreciate, Nature\'s free gifts
dear poet)

Healing
jarcher54 said:
I used to see scars on my wife, like on her knees, or on her back where her running bra would leave a mark, or on her belly from minor surgery, as little flaws. Now that we are both older I see them as beauty marks from a life well lived. Scars hopefully bring strength! Thanks for sharing your own take on that.

When A Vagabond Loves
jarcher54 said:
Parts of this, like the beginning and the end, are a fresh take on the folk song or ancient pastoral poetry. Superficially sweet and idealized, full of references to pre-human nature, and reflecting deep feelings of love, joy, or sorrow. Parts of it are modern and almost too conversational, like calling oneself a jerk, or referring to owning the place or your comfort zone. This was fun to read, pretty but painful. Thanks for putting it together for us!

Love, The Holocaust
L. B. Mek said:
this is wonderful
I think your evocative title, although attention grabbing
detracts, from the poetic beauty of your write..
(we must be ever aware of the context, inferred
in our word choices, and \'holocaust\' shouldn\'t be one we utilise, easily)
should you, \'Choose\' to retitle this work
you\'ll find a lot more people actually connect with the sentiments and emotions, you\'ve so eloquently portrayed in this write
in my humble opinion..
\'Compressed between, I
no longer protest a thing
For I\'m surrounded, by her presence
This river is flowing for good, I can tell
She, took my heart away
Fulfilled, my \'every need\' with her thought\'s
And none
of my walls is still standing, I cannot resist\'

Nightmare
L. B. Mek said:
wonderful, really liked your flow
great use of contradiction in your imagery:
\'One day longer than a 1000 years;\'
\'And the seas were a single rain drop\'
to highlight
how removed from reality you felt, in that moment..
thanks for sharing, dear poet

Healing
L. B. Mek said:
\'I sometimes feel pain but the healing-
Numbs it and I feel alright with the scars-
Growing on my skin, strengthening..\'
Empowering!
imbued with that resurgent spirit
of one, who has survived
the worst of torments in life,
thanks for sharing, dear poet
