this is one o them that makes me feel more than just one thing at a time .. there is of course the sadness & appropriate amount of compassion and empathy that one may or may not expect in view of the fact we have not met in person but share a literary relationship .. and then conversely, there is a feeling of gladness that you are now back here at MPS and hopefully recuperating if not already fully convalesced .. Oh\' and furthermore, there is a genuine feeling of appreciation that your poetic offering today has more than adequately explained your most recent protracted and until now unexplained absence .. Oh\' and for what its worth, I can honestly say you have been missed and not only by me .. Neville

Life Changed Forever

Not sure what to say. It could change my life forever then I would have wished that I had said something different. Oh well throw caution to the wind, I\'ll give it a go and throw in my two bits. Loved it Dave.

I echo this Dave and feel myself a rebel against all conformity for conformity sake. I would be an anarchist but know it doesn\'t work. I guess I would never work out as a bee or ant.

Three Palms

Can identify with this on Dave. What was a palm covered field between me and the beach is now a row of houses. Oh well there goes the neighborhood.

A great story in verse Dave that I can relate to. Keeping the kitchen clean very important. Vermin are not my favorite things to live with.

This is fun my friend! I\'m donning my trench coat and fedora, while the theme from Mission Impossible plays in the background. Oops, almost forgot the dark glasses. Very crafty of you, loved it!

This one caught me by surprise Dave. This poetic encoded message leaves me full of paranoia. My poetry is self therapy and amusement, I don\'t consider it art. Art is too high a standard I hope it is not espionage but I worry that it may be used for such. I have left myself open I\'m afraid.

Does it really matter what\'s causing it? I\'m with you, when there is a fire in a theater, I\'m not asking what caused it, I\'m looking for an exit. Great write Dave

My oh\' my, this would appear to be a fine example of an acrostic poem for the following grossly misunderstood and likewise, underused word
UFTFNAAIOMDAAI .. and I agree with the underlying principles that inspired it .. Neville

Ohhh, is a such a good poem as this unprecedented - no precedent, nothing going before to equal or better it?!
I\'m flattering now, just cos I wanted to use that long word, so I\'ll say it again: \'unprecedented\'. lol.

Roses are red violets are blue... I used to write stuff like that but it\'s been too many years and I guess my testosterone has fallen. Now it\'s just laments about growing old, pain and loss.

Ah, beauty or appreciation is in the eye of the beholder no matter what age. I went to the gym this AM to carry on with my Physical Therapy exercises, and there I saw the young and robust, with physical prowess on display. Talk about feeling like a fossil. My only solace is that one day, they will be the fossils. Take care dear friend!
