Keep Walking
L. B. Mek said:
\'I saw a long dark cloak drifting on the spirit of Arden
I witnessed nothing more than any blind man could prove;
was it the woman I long to touch? I cannot find her
double jeopardy here, have only got one dice to roll
but with the race now on, somewhere in this darkness
hides the deepest mind buried in the deepest hole\'..
what a talent! dear Poet
and what a humbling privilege
to witness your wordsmith prowess

I read this, and can\'t help hearing
\'If I was God, I would\'ve - so done it all betta!\'
like a child, screeching
\'If I was a Parent, I would neva hurt my child\'
and then twenty or thirty years later
that same child - bellowing
\'stop crying! you have no idea
how lucky you are
to have Me as your parent, if it would\'ve been
My parents...\' lol
life\'s, so easy with that mindset of teen angst
mindless rebelliousness
where everything, is a consequence of circumstance
and a broken world - gifts
a landfill dumpsite of opportunity, to project
all the blame we accumulate
thereby insuring, all that raging anger
allows no room for accountability
to slither near, with our accrued invoice
for a lifetime of hypocritical idiocy...
Rage-on! dear poet
hope it helps, to distract - permanently
may you never
come across that withering mirror, of reality

L. B. Mek said:
\'what harm can come from the swelling of silence?

once cherished now feared, always
a hunted Steer between chapters\'..
one day, there will be a gold rush

or, they\'ll inspire
someone the universe has intrusted
with a magnificently Poetic destiny,
either way
that potential of inspirational quality
you imbue
in each of your poems, is truly - well

Persistent Inconsistency
L. B. Mek said:
only, when those childhood pillar\'s
of perceived vehemence, are shed
do we finally begin
to taste and feel the veracity of modernity\'s
sleeted streets of dizzying misery;
and then: the true fun
of reality\'s seasonal, slaps: to our calloused face
can really, take aim...
meanwhile, we\'ll just grip the ropes and ponder
what round this is
and when, will we finally start doing that whole
\'living\' thing...

thank you for my birthday wishes L B Mek;
as for my being a broken person..no;
I simlply choose to write with a mind that forever questions not what is right, but what is accepted as being right, ignoring those who have a different view on life;
I dont find a rainbow fascinating, but I do ask, when a man falls in love with a drag queen bingo caller, he gets castrated!
isnt that also a wonderful thing?
two people falling in love;
yes, I view the world through miserable eyes.
but one thing I will not do;
is write only to please the eyes of those of read what I write;\'
as I said before, my mind rules my pen, and that is what I must live with;

\'with landmine knives

what a cruel society we\'ve curated

I kinds feel, dispirited

there\'s more good than bad

just, so depressingly sad - what a waste
it is a crime against our generation\'s Poetry
and affirmation to everything accessible

or have other\'s deny it for us:
that you, dear poet are not a house hold name
being encouraged and celebrated by society\'s majority!
\'walking with the tremors of a catfish
doped on the Marciano punch
in the seventh round

on a glimpse of the sea
as the seafaring queen buttons her corset
and shaves her butterfly arms.
butternut beans
in a squandered levine
swims the articulate tide
with an heir apperent guest
of a shepherds eye\'
\'pricks from the aardvaks teeth
bites into the heaving of my bleeding flesh
of nonchalant screams
love is all, and
love is all it is.
tarrogan thighs in beds of aluminums stockings and lace
traces my footsteps back
to a prehistoric morphine pill under a covid sky.
why does your wire cut so deep?\'

wow, such vividly obscene volatility
showcased with: purposed integrity!
this be a poem that is meant, to be felt
not merely read..
conveying with unmistakeable clarity
the anguish of the author
at that one time
in this one - singular, mindset...
(although
I would understand if some may argue
this needs an age restriction warning
for its graphic imagery
admittedly this is a little less subtle
than your usual, artistry)
either way, at least for me
this is such, an intriguing read!
(I\'ve never - ever, read hate of the \'broken hearted\'
expressed with such: unvarnished eloquence):
\'I am in love with the boil on the backsideof her heart
wanking with the spanking hand of the occult
in sulking trees with knees of abanded seed
she breathes my semon cold through the veins of abandoned profiterole ghost;
I love you most\'
reminds me of the Great: Emily Disckinson:
\'It would never be Common—more—I said—
Difference—had begun—
Many a bitterness—had been—
But that old sort—was done—
Or—if it sometime—showed—as \'twill—
Upon the Downiest—Morn—
Such bliss—had I—for all the years—

just, wow!!!
and \'They\' say \'True Poetry\' is dead....
here\'s words that rightfully show 🖕
to that mindset of inane, futility
discarding it to its rightful place
of binned obstinacy, permanently!

I am in love with the darkness of my tempermental skin
the aches and pains that tastes of imported winds
as I crawl with the wishbones through corridors of demented reprieve\'..

one last cheer for the mighty sperm whale

a mere 29 years away from its 200th birthday
Herman Melville\'s words, still resonates and penetrates: loud and clear
for those with the patience
to unfurl, dissect and digest, than merely - reactionarily, judge and detest!
as does you brand
of unflinching and boorishly matter-of-fact, frank: Poetry
thanks for sharing!
indeed, since soothingly whispered words of \'positive reinforcement\'
clearly aren\'t working, let us all
try shocking ourselves from that cyclical apathy
of ignorance worshipping malaise of petulantly, entitled: indifference
to all thigs titled - Humane and Accountability...!

Not Since The Last November Rain
L. B. Mek said:
\'Mother of the playful pearl in her green unbottoned blouse
crawled with soldiers wounds through skinless winter leaves
between the swollen eyes\'
\'through tortured sperm of ruptured Porcupine
have I dared to hiss and kiss at the carnival of dancing doubt
or pirate my charade in my uniform of transparant anxiety;
not since the last November rain
have I dared to close my eyes and die again;\'..
initially, I was drawn to that porcelain metaphor again, but
realised you have utilised it completely different in this poem
(how creatively refreshing and bold)..
and then, as always with your stylistic Poetry\'s
unassuming Rosewater, of subtly decadent wording
I was lost - deep, within that ink of creativity\'s fervour
glaring your poetic genius, to my pixilated slipstream: screen..
(write\'s like your transcend need for age limits or trigger warnings
since only those willing to delve deep and unfurl
can have access to your Poetry, to begin with
in my humble opinion),
thanks for sharing dear Poet
