Silver Gray
Mourgana of the Fey said:

Hello,

Within this short piece there are many things unfolding, I felt that you were reaching out perhaps sending an intention or a blessing to people dear to you. At the end the tooth made me think of life wisdom. I enjoyed the read!

A poem that feels so classic but is brought to the modern day. A Bacchanalian festival of gayety and celebration under the influence of alcohol that dims the pain of life. A wonderful write or should I say rite

We are indeed the poets of our own fate, whilst celebrating memories of those we lost. Melancholic and so lovely…

All our circumstances can change in the blink of an eye, the one thing that cannot change and we are the same in, is death, nicely written and expressed

At the most basic level we are all the same and all will die as the ultimate measure of life\'s equality. Differences during life should be acknowledged for what they are and nothing more. Lovely write

I’ve always felt like an old soul myself, in the sense that I feel like a 70 yr old in the body of a 19 yr old, lol. The way you use the term as a reflection of your roots though, as you so beautifully articulate in this poem, is beyond beautiful. “Time itself had to wait for me” is such a powerful line. I think this poem has given voice to the many who came before you who didn’t have the platform nor opportunity to do so. 🤍

I remember finishing reading Lord of the Rings when I was 15. I didn\'t want to live in this world anymore. It is a lonely era.
Powerful write!

Great metaphors in this poem the analogies are solid and most applicable. Carefully chosen wording helps with the power of this poem, Old soul indeed.
