Excellent metaphor. Some couples do end up looking like each other, finish each other\'s sentences........

I have decided to go it alone but so as not to appear unusual i have now grown to the size of two to keep up appearances.

P.S. it\'s not working for me.

Psychotic world

Hmm fool or wise? I look at the trees and consider all they have seen in their long life and they sway nonchelantly. Immoveable presence. Are they wise or just a dumb life we overlook. What can we learn from these fool like trees.

Being around a tree or trees can teach a spiritual type person much as can the fool.

Maybe I have thought this through long and hard for i have a daughter who some might call a fool. She is merry and smiley and has no living skills, now in her forties she has taught me lots.

Psychotic world
L. B. Mek said:

I know this person
recognise those self-serving
traits
in so many people\'s, indifferent gaze
but most of all, I recognise
that glint, I\'ve known my whole life
in that mirror reflection
I tend, to pretend
doesn\'t greet, every morning
knowingly, judging
ever-so silently..
(great write, dear poet
so many levels you touch upon)
thank you!

If only we had a crystal ball to look into the future and see the unforeseen consequence of our actions, whatever they may be. You have expressed this in such a thoughtful and intelligent way, I\'m blown away. Great write!

All things are possible

The contemplation here for the reader is incredible. It touches on the very nature of reality, and how I think we can never really understand it. Does it even exist, what is time? I have my homework for the afternoon, and probably into tomorrow. Thank you for this wonderful metaphysical ride, I love it!

I love how you touch on the metaphysical and philosophical with your poetry. I do believe we\'re all connected through one long and ethereal link. Can\'t wait to see you on the flipside!

I think my head just exploded; yep, there it is all over the keyboard. You have a way of hitting the proverbial nail on the head, really hard. I can now stop muttering all those things to myself, and sit down peacefully, enjoy my book and my cup of tea. Loved it!!!

I literally love the line: \"It\'s noon with a broken compass.\" I sense that broken compass stands for the path we all take that can get hazy along the way. We\'re all searching for an elusive paradise. This is a great reflection.
