Fallen leaves
arqios said:
“Fallen leaves\" being a picture of life cycle’s ending, curtailed by the season in which it “lives’’ powerfully intertwines nature and human suffering, creating a poignant narrative. The imagery and symbolism effectively capture the pain and loss experienced. A strong and meaningful vice ringing clear from you pen, Soren!

It looks like it\'s peaceful, but it\'s difficult to carry on.
Strange things still happen.
There\'s one thing I don\'t understand. I would appreciate it if you could tell me why you chose the title \"Fallen Leaves.\"

I hate to see the death of any living thing. I would pause and reflect on its living, insect or not. Some would label me nuts 😂
Happy new year Soren.

Dear friend, we grapple with belief systems all our lives, if we are thinking beings. If we are not, we follow the herd in relative bliss which is far easier. Your poem speaks tof thoughts we should not fear, but embrace, that we may come to our own understanding and find peace within ourselves. I applaud you.!

In my experience and observation (which isn’t saying much) it is innately human and cyclical to develop and rebirth belief systems and we are most likely going to do it again and again well into the future… very astute metaphor! Juicy stuff so early in the year… a poetic celebration 🎉 🥳

At first, I was thinking a moth, not sure why. But then again, maybe a moth, in the right context, could be an angel! Whatever delivers a message is a messenger. Simple as that. Anyway, wonderful poem Soren. Happy New Year, my friend! 🌹👏

you see there was a reason why as a child I wanted to be an winged angel! For now the only angels around are the poems we share and enjoy. In a manner of speaking, that is.... Happy New Year Soren!!! 🎉🥳

Oh so stunning, you could be talking about the angel insect, I\'ve never seen one, or could be metaphor either way as you always do it, with class and beauty. 🌹

The power of that one smile! And to think it is in everyone’s arsenal. But somewhere along personal lines a safety latch was welded to keep these smiles inaccessible… oh dear, where is my imagination going….
