Words of the prophets

it is true that lots of prophecy, dark humor, profound or obscene messages are to be found on the walls of public toilets - some are good as written in a state when the truth spouts forth without control, while some best left unread

These are the type I enjoy, indie you-never-know-what-to-expect works. They\'re my favourite so far. And I like the fact that its about a fly.

I have thought about it long and hard and now conclude there is no way you could have chosen a more apt title to front a topic that if we take enough breaths will have a vast impact on us all .. I have never been afraid of dying or of my own departure, but I am not keen on this getting old malarky .. the losses seem to occur back on back & with increasing ferociousness .. I still have my hair and a few marbles but still feel like a casualty .. I am not in the least bit surprised by the number of folk ho rate these words of yours so highly my friend .. and believe me, I do too .. Neville ๐๐

It\'s nice to find someone as depressed and disappointed as I am. Finding things to counter this mood get harder and harder to find. \"Now winter\'s cold is coming\".

I\'ll circle around for a bit longer if you don\'t mind - if I take this too seriously, I\'ll crash...
Not sure if you are serious about the cost of living, Soren - be interesting, as I can\'t see metaphors being very handy there....๐

This body will rot

Liked and Faved. Part of me has days like thatโฆ now Iโm nursing my sore feet. Just back from a much needed shift as the cost of living keeps us toiling even past what once was typical in oneโs lifespan. So we trudge along like a tattered jalopy.

This poem is full of intrigue. It is beautifully penned Soren, but the meaning eluded me. I had to scroll to find out further. I am thankful for learning something new today. Delightful reading.

I really enjoyed this poem reminded me of an elderly couple i used to help, the old fella used to smoke these beautifully carved pipes, said there was nothing better. The wife said at his funeral Smoking might have killed him, but the pipes paid for the funeral, a lovely poem
