Hard to know what you actually do, Tom to induce the office to cough up on payday, but \'nice work if you can get it\'

A lovely country walk, with your nameless dog, but so near to main roads. Just concentrate on the greenery and block the noise of the cars out. I enjoyed my visit Tom.

That dang whoosh of some cars on rainy days, when they go through a puddle and soak you. I\'m sure some do it on purpose. Doh!

Fantastic. I love the parallel—nature vs the machines.

Where The Wild Grass Grows

Memories of ‘two hour’ walks through the hop fields of Kent with my then partner as directed by ‘Fieldcroft’, a column in our very local rag. Think Fieldcroft was a rotating file, and after what could have been the third rotation…time had marched on.. .. lost – arguments – out on that road, found the local hostelry and made up in front of a roaring fire and very warming liquids.
Bought it all back Tom, thanks.

I can see into the future, when the massive 647-page biography of ‘Tom * Dylan, Poet of Life’ is published, with those words as the epigraph.
Neat limerick, Tom.

We got married in Essex on the 28th of December, honeymoon in Paris. Memorable for all the wrong reasons!
Still together 27 years later though.
Happy anniversary, may you grow old together gracefully.

Who judges poetry?
It goes out into the ether, and is an interpretation of the heart.

You are a poet sir, don’t forget it. I’ve been to a few evenings like that. Poetry is for everyone. Inner city poetry can be vibrant and exhilarating. It isn’t the subject, it’s what the poet brings to the table. His mastery with words. Enjoyed my visit very much Tom.

They pop in here occasionally: the lovely landscape and introverted navel watchers. And I\'ve ranted about them occasionally.
You\'ve done a much more conversational piece of poetry which gently tells the truth. Good for you, Tom.

I\'ve been to those pretentious poetry readings, I\'ve competed in poetry slams against the overly educated and beat their knickers off. You are a great poet and you understand much more than you think. Keep writing.

It matters not of the subject, but more of how the poet perceives what he/she is writing about and what the meaning derived from it. Poetry is about expression. You ended up with a fine poem Tom. 😊👍
