You are not even in second gear yet...Go for the ton, Tom - I\'m sure the projected forty will be as equally entertaining as the first sixty.

Totally understand this. I have a conch shell from years back given to me by my grandmother. I listen to the ebb and flow of the tides and feel calmed. Lovely poem I can relate to Tom. Happy Wednesday.

Keepsakes are a great little reminder of special places and event from our past. I have little pieces of wood from broken shingles of the Lawson Tower which I recently posted of. Great write Tom. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

There\'s more than enough resonance there for me in that rich but simple statement/poem, Tom. I too have an otherwise inconsequential object - small wooden, worn by waves plus woodworm and the remnants of a brass verdigrised screw which forever reminds me of that day on that beach - not to mention the mystery.....

Although retired now, I remember coming back from vacation while working and thinking, well another year until I can do this again. But all in all, I did enjoy working, just not as much as vacation. ๐Ÿ˜ Great write Tom. ๐Ÿ‘

Will \'42\' help you through this?! lol. Dunno quite how.
Yes, it can be a dreaded moment - the Monday morning, holiday gone, back to grind-stone.
Well, go back to work Tuesday then! Doh! I\'m no help. lol.
I\'ve started my retirement - ooh! But different things to tend to now.

First day back. Painful isnโ€™t it? Back to the grind stone. Start planning the next holiday:) I remember this feeling so well. Pleased to say, I no longer have that problem. I enjoyed my visit to your page Tom. Happy Tuesday.

Whoa - What I like about your work Tom, is that it deals with stuff out there in the real world. And this one feels like the start of a slippery slope leading to another of the kind of interminable offerings here which involve multiple examinations of the writer\'s internal states. Please donโ€™t go there.
PS: Personal view only and of course you have every right to examine your navel fluff to the end of timeโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™ƒ
