Powerful work. Love the angst and symbolic nature of the writer\'s plight.

I\'ve missed you something dreadful. Since poetry is always at your elbow, please don\'t ignore her. Beautifully rendered with gorgeous imagery and a tantalizing poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

A muse is like the Cycle of the Moon: She\'s here then gone.
And you have to wait until She comes around again. Lovely Poem.

Very nice, Tom! She\'s light-o\'-love, though, I believe I saw her disappearing through my window while I was packing my laptop this morning. Only a note left on my pillow - \"maybe you\'ll see me again\"

Not similar, but a disaster brought havoc. A power plant broke down in Puerto Rico and we were without electricity for several days.. I got my generator out, not without hurting my back. Thanks for sharing; I enjoyed its flow and details.

Wow! Indeed, I have two works in progress, longer pieces that I am not even quite sure what I am going to do with it once I finish. One is a narrative poem that is currently 13 1/3 pages long and 5,767 words. It\'s almost finished...but yeah. 😳 I cannot even begin to pretend to know how many hours spent working on it. Anyway, this is very true and well expressed my friend. It gets a fave from me. πŸŒΉπŸ‘

There was a song in the 80\'s we knew too well, touting that very thing, the beauty of the journey seen through the lens of this genre which spells out more than the artist realizes, ever and anon. What almost none knew is that the work is esteemed far more than the author, by default, since that is forever man\'s bent. Lovely and charmingly rendered with excellent imagery and a fascinating poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Tinkering
Cheeky Missy said:

I was merely taught those defining words which you Brits and the Canadians also used, whileas certain my daddy used a fresh roll of Scott\'s Tissue in changing the oil of his mother\'s blue Chevy Nova. He was forever \"tinkering\" on some or other engine or device, the warning that girls whose dads were so capable were bound to marry men who\'d never dirty their hands nor know how to repair aught...a suggestion which made me shiver. On that angle so deftly turned to propose, I can\'t forget the sweet poetess in our local poetry group who would write and rewrite so many times it left me nearly squirming. Lovely and so charmingly rendered with exquisite imagery and a delicious poignancy. Thank you so very much for sharing. I love it.
