Happy Birthday M!
Ahh, UK and USA date format are the same for this day: 2.2.
In UK it\'s date-month-year.
In USA it\'s month-date-year.

I could really feel your emotion of rage in this and I loved the imagery! I loved every line but my most favorites were:
\"Black is darkness and white is coal\"

\"Stars collide because of you
Because your heart is a wicked scheme.\"

Sounds like you are drawing this archetypal woman, with exact sensitivity and sensibility-she looks like a lot of women around me-I think Iā€™m so different, yet I still try to learn about their detached and fanciful? ways

Bloody Mary

A contrary Mary for sure. I have one living round the corner from me. Full of the milk of human kindness, she is not. You could have written this poem for her. Well penned poet.

The Death Of Janet Green

You bring Janet to life with this stunning incantation. It is an obituary, an anthem, a lamentation, and a wickedly wry commentary on the poor soul! Thank you so much poet!

Human Jesus
Rocky Lagou said:

This is amazing. I love this message with so much passion that I canā€™t put it into words. I just want to say that your poem and writerā€™s note speak directly to the world weā€™re living in. This world needs more love, more hope, a Savior. ā€œFor a rose is a rose; the grandest roseā€ is a phenomenal line. Stay safe and blessed.

Good write M.
A terrible \'game to play is \'What if.....?\'
What if - it all goes wrong, this or that negative thing happens, etc.
We can\'t know - do we want to know all of the future anyway?
Easy to say, harder to do maybe - we can only live one day at a time.
A terrible thing is that we won\'t come up with \'What if\' answers, as future things just have not happened yet. Or if we seemingly have \'answers\' we won\'t know if they are correct or not, until an event happens - or doesn\'t happen.

Broken love is painful and reconciliation for some can be out of the question. Time can soften such hurt. This reader felt your pain in your poem.

So painful to read, this poem of great hurt. I feel your anguish, as s reader. It pains more because I have a granddaughter myself. I want to give you a hug. Keep writing. Good to express those feelings. Get them out in the open.

Rain
Cassie58 said:

Itā€™s all about balance. Too much sun and you would become parched. We need the rain in our lives too. Relationships arenā€™t perfect. They have their strains. It helps if we have some elastic in the cupboard. I enjoyed your poem and the shape of its presentation. Thank you.
