Modesty does not become you, tree-frog guy -
You got Thad going with his Trijan Refrain.
Come round an keep them flies out of my fry;
I don’t want to see that blue-bottle again.

Howdee, Thad – after that break you’re back with sensible engaging poetry once more – well done, Sir.

I didn’t know about that form, but I have my own tree frog that lives in my bathroom and serenades me at night. He eats my flies and mosquitoes, and I have to be careful before I flush because he swims in my toilet.

Impressive, my friend! A form I have yet to write in. At some point, I figure I just might! The form and the words both make for a beautiful expression of love. Wonderful job! 👏🌹

Presentation is All:
It’s all them customers to whom my bum is in thrall.
Times when we couldn’t pay the bills, I don’t miss ‘em at all.
My wife refused to let me buy better fitting trews -
Any change of apparel, she said would mean we would lose.

You\'ve certainly plumbed the depths of hilarity, Thad

Hilarious. You must have some time on your hands to compose in all these different forms. Over here in the UK we would call that Builders Bum. I just showed my other half your posted images. He laughed a lot. Where do you buy the shirts lol. He didn’t want to know about your poetry though lol. He isn’t a poetry sort of guy.

And once more with feeling, Thad:

Wot you’ve got there is a hound dog and a half -
Best take him to the carwash when he needs a bath.
When his food gets delivered neighbours are quite miffed;
It’s delivered by truck and bleedin great forklift.

Monotetra. Learning form poetry from you Thad. You are an adventurer :) That is one big dog. Looks as though he would eat my Solo for breakfast ( a staffy). Thanks for a fun poem on a cold Saturday afternoon. Happy weekend.

How do, Thad
Her texting while you’re on the job ain’t no fun at all;
I’d pawn them rings, go freelance and have yourself a ball.
What’s the point of marriage vows when they cause such strife?
Go get your rides where you can but there\'s no need for a wife.

I admire your dedication to form poetry Thad. I haven’t got that much discipline. This was a fun piece, plenty of rhyme and much enjoyed. I guess lack of height could prove challenging. Have a great day.
