A reality that\'s is worth the reflection, bringing a child in the world, it is the job of every parent to teach our children the positives of life not the negatives that spread the hate and greed that is currently hurting us all. I\'m not sure what the next chapter of the Trump administration will do for good, but we are all waiting to find out, I personally have little hope. ❤️

Half the world in conflict and the suffering brings shame on our species, it is always the innocent children who are caught up in the warmongering. If they survive, however do they live with the horrors. A hard hitting write Tobani.

No responsible parent should produce a child into a world where there is no hope of their offspring ever reaching their full potential.

A most disturbing poem about the innocence of children and how they are affected by the world around them. It also seems a metaphor for people in general that are helpless under the actions of governments that control their lives. Very nicely written.

The innocence of childhood is often punctuated by their exposure to its pain and injustice. Children are a symbol of all people’s helplessness under governments, ulterior motives, and unjust actions. Very nicely written.

I am a huge fan of rhyming poetry and yours was a pleasure to read. Loved the story it told and your rhyming did not feel forced but relaxed as your story unfolded. I am looking forward to reading more of your writtings....

Okay, so I double backed and went to the previous poem and our conversation about it. Boy, this feels like there is a bit of a step back moment, still emotional but more in control (sorry for this unencompassing word, ironic to its meaning, in this context) but still exudes the evocative expression.

Saying goodbye as often a very difficult thing to do. We form attachments that are not easily broken. This poem emphasizes such feelings. Very nicely written.

Sad when love is on the downward slope. Can be retrieved with effort, but not everyone has the energy to invest in that outcome. Nicely penned composition. I enjoyed my visit.

This is like that slow motion all happening at once scene where everything begins to take on a cutting edge clarity but we are unable to do anything about it. Ah, life… at least the poetry came out to log this moment in a life.

Sad it sounds, but by now a distant memory. Glad to know you survived. I really don\'t think it necessary to lash yourself in this way.
Notifications show you commented on my poem, but for what is some technical reason probably, I have no access to it..... (I have few enough responses, I can\'t afford to miss one...😂)

Yes, the lunatics are on the move and the world becomes more dangerous by the day. Nuts isn’t it? Half the world hungry while billions is spent on war mongering. Makes you wanna jet off to Mars. Strong piece. I hear you.
