Great write and so appropriate in these sad times when the gap between political agendas seems to be coming ever more divisive. .

I like reading your poetry. You write as I do, experiences and emotions. I too started writting as a child, to me, it was my only release. Thank you for the read. I enjoyed it!

Oh, now here is a mantra of my being! It also sums up quite neatly a major reason why poetry became part of me as a child. thank you for sharing! P.S. the year stamped marks the general time that I began to write as a novice, the early seventies really.

I enjoyed my visit here today .. and before I go on, just wanted to let you know that .. I also suspect from you avatar, you may follow a Buddhist path or at least be familiar with some of our Princes teachings .. Unfortunately, I am too tired having had a long day and night (hence my late visit here) but had I been more alert may have written some of the more salient points he wrote about pain and suffering, not necessarily for you, but for any others that may follow me here .. Kindest of regards, Neville πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

The myth that \"time heals all wounds\" is a foolish attempt at consolation. At best, sometimes it can mitigate. Oh well. nice work.

That brought me to a choice, a summation that should we choose it, Time could bring about a distancing that could parallel healing. The other choice stands as well. Sometimes to remain wounded is for some the only way to feel something ever again.

A heart breaking write Tobani. Your notes made it even sadder. To be separated from your sibling and in care must have been extremely painful for you. Sorry you had to experience this.

That is so touching. My story is the reverse where Mum got between myself and the flying belt and planks of wood.We we’re both battered and bruised at the end of that beating. I knew then at 6 what it meant for someone to take a bullet with my name on it. Bless you, friend.

Wonderful, tragic, write my friend. I could feel every word in this and, I concur with Soren, this is a great write at any age, let alone 12. I am so sad that this was your sister and your experience. I pray that you and your sister\'s were able to stay in contact and close despite the separation. Well done, friend. Well done! πŸŒΉπŸ‘
