A bittersweet poem
really touching!
Great reminder that
there are a lot of folks
that are alone Christmas
and not a happy time
at all,, for some.
A little company would
put a smile on their faces. โ˜บ๏ธ
Thanks for sharing,! ๐Ÿ™

Your poem makes you realize a lot of people have to spend Christmas alone. Of course the end is the cure. A bit of company. Lol. It was written really really well. Thanks for the read.

The Most Lonely day Of the Year
Tristan Robert Lange said:

Thank you, dear friend, for this poem. To me the most important reminder of all. Nobody should be alone on any day, let alone a holiday.
Your message is apt and tugs at the heartstrings! Tobani, I am sorry this is yours and many others reality. If I could hop the great lake dividing us, I would swing by and spend some time saying hi and eating cookiesโ€ฆor anything for that matter! ๐Ÿคฃ All of that said, I am truly sending you warm wishes on this cold day, my dear friend. I feel blessed to have met you. โค๏ธ

The Most Lonely day Of the Year
arqios said:

Christmas is peopled lesser and lesser up my way. It\'s probably partly due to the piling on of years and the diversification of opportunities and tele-relationships and such. I also think that Christmas has also diminished in its lustre for many people. As in the note on the Christmas poem I posted this year, I feel that we should allow everyone to celebrate it in their own way and not coerce others to do it one certain way. But that\'s just me. Thanks for sharing.

Darling I Bought You A Hoover
sorenbarrett said:

I love the tone of this poem and how it goes. Despite best intentions and work and money some people are never pleased and some people despite how hard they try can\'t read the desires of others. In this social miscommunication so much is lost. The detail demanded in a gift always bothers me in that a gift should be given from the heart not demanded from the start. A fun write with a moral
