You know one of us is gonna say this - so it might be my turn to say it. Not exorcise, but plenty exercise for Obi and Popeye. Don\'t explain how. Swoon! lol.

Funny, I said too many years ago that the initial for my middle name \"S\" represented \"sorry\" since I must apologize all the time. If it\'s any use, I find the Scriptures comforting, \"...there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared--\" and, \"...Thou, LORD, art good, and ready to forgive, and plentious in mercy to all them that call upon Thee--\" Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting, painful poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

Overpowering feeling if guilt can leave us feeling that we chained and being suffocated by it . When our cries and pleas for forgiveness go unanswered we are left to believe this will be eternal, dark, raw and powerful write

Ah. Guilt. It consumes and devours, does it not? Guilt need not be forever, but when one doesn\'t respond to the plea for forgiveness we are left with having to find closure on our own. That can feel, and for some it is, eternally damning. This is very well expressed in this poem. I have been here...I have carried this regret. Thank you friend. 🌹👏

Hello again, to me this poem reached out from the paragraphs. There was something about it becoming an intense lament . A lamentation for life for reversed reflections. For taking the embers from the fire and using them as voices that speak through the flakes and the flames. For me this piece had great impact. Its voice is just so strong and compelling that I felt drawn in. Though not by mere emotions since your piece reflects many realities. The darker ones that perhaps we turn our back towards, the shards, the bits and pieces. Thank you for sharing this poem!

I have to be honest I am still working on this one, I like the building of the character and story but I think the meaning is multilayered and I haven\'t quite got it yet, dark, haunting and enjoyable read

A very deep write, they say without pain there is no gain but I beg to differ with that opinion, if every time we tried to push forward someone treads you down by the throat, the pain you end up feeling is self inflicted and there is no gain in that, nicely expressed write, wishing you all the best

A dark, angry and spiritual write, possibly the anger being aimed at god. Forgiving Vengeance, a frightening thought, the read grabs you by the horns and says listen, nicely expressed and written
