Thank you Kurt. You always go for the succinct. Did you read The Snows of Kilimanjaro by Ernest Hemingway? I\'m going to track down one of your books and read it. Thanks 😊

A simply beautiful Poem Roberto. I especially love
these two lines...
\"A silvery adorned wreath,
Graying before time expires\"

One of my books was set in Tibet and Nepal, and
Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha ) played a big part in
the story.

I\'m thrilled your doing, and writing, so well.

Thanks for the lead...

Kurt

Thank you, Z. Did I get the Swahili portion right? I aimed to make the poem express the awesomeness of Kilimanjaro.

Wow an awesome beautiful tribute eloquently phrased ! Great how you described the mountain so aptly . Kudos for this poetic marvel.
I\'ve settled in Tanzania for two decades now and the mountain is the pride here. I have mentioned it in my poems also.

Looks like some people will remember you for saying god spoke to you. I wonder if they will believe that?
An awful lot of wants for one man.

Wow an awesome motivating inspiring poem that we all need in these hard global pandemic times. You inspire all with a twist to the famous poetic line , against fear and panic. And I agree with lawless, it\'s a bit confusing to say \' pray against the forces of light\' , maybe you meant to say \'pray to\', be cause God is light and source of all light. Kudos,

If there was a god this madness would never have started! We have our words to write and read and I have music to listen to and to play, maybe you can find something new to learn or pick up on something you used to do, strange times - yes but good will come out of them.

Wasting your time praying, it doesn\'t work.... checkout those who prayed yet experienced disaster... or are you a special case LOL.

Virus virulent here but the sunshine is lovely and it\'s time to do stuff around the home or your hobby. I\'ve got 12 weeks of enforced isolation in my home and not tearing my hair out... what\'s the problem? Write more poetry, with time on your hands there\'s time to perfect it...... encouragement!

Is this in ernest or tongue in cheek? All around us is the beautiful world. It\'s there for us all if we can see it. But we have to believe there is something worth seeing to appreciate it.
