my overzealous 2 cents worth)

Estrangement
L. B. Mek said:

\'Different
world.
No longer
encumbered.
Bright,
full of
possibility.
Severed,\'
what a wonderful dedication to a favoured word of mine
much maligned and abused, as it is..
derived from French and Latin ancestral terms for \'stranger\'
as in: self defined
or allowed-to-be defined, by other\'s - as;
based on actions, that denote
a willingness of separation - of distancing,
in more convectional terms: preference to be
\'far, from the madding crowd\'...
as we subjugate ourselves
to a life cocooned within nihilism\'s futile hopelessness
pointedly and pointlessly, utilising wilful-solicitude\'s
capacity for self-neglectful detrimental: attitudes...
in short, because we harbour
such an innate capacity for \'Estrangement\'
those who understand, sing loud with a knowingly wry - smile:
\'There may be trouble ahead
But while there\'s moonlight
And music and love and romance
Let\'s face the music and dance\'
as that bequeathed wisdom
from the truly Great, \'Nat King Cole\'
or in todays more direct language:
\'“If you feel anxiety or depression, you are not in the present.
You are either anxiously projecting the future
or depressed and stuck in the past.
The only thing you have any control over is the present moment....\'
by Tobe Hanson..
(this, blink away from lost: precious moment, right now!)

Being There
L. B. Mek said:

or nothing, even...
Well, since that\'s all sorted and finalised
and meaning rendered defunct: what next?
A bit of world conquering, for old times sake?
Its easy now: we just press a bid red button
and see, who blinks - last, at first sight
of that collective nihilistic eclipse
we so fervently, covet...
or maybe, instead
we try something new, a little less dramatic
and just, say thanks with that very breath
we\'ve been blessed,
think more about maximising
this blink-brief experience
we deign to call: existence...
(there\'s something about your delivery in format and wording
that engages people, drills into them - every time)
thanks for sharing, dear Poet

Prison
L. B. Mek said:

yup, I too agree dear Poet
the more random \'assumed logic\' based knowledge
we accumulate, the more confined we usually feel
at the hopelessness it paints..
ergo, I feel it best
to tailor our learning, to match our needs
meaning: if we\'re naturally logical people
maybe we work on those missing instinctive tethers
to spirituality and empathetic intelligence...
while instead, if we find we are too reliant
on our senses for direction, we should add
a little logical reasoning to fine tune and distil
those overwhelmingly intrusive - sensed feelings...
then maybe, we can find a middle ground
of balanced cognitive and sensed understating
for the world we live in...
either way it all starts from within
without knowing what we\'re lacking
wasteful: to begin consuming...

L. B. Mek said:

\'in all those muddied-up traced laylines
of fateful choices, ley lines
nirvana awaits: as promised...\'
Now this is my interpretation of
\'achingly, Shrapnel incisions of mercifully sharpened, wit\'
as coping methodology, to our lives sublime of Absurdity!
(a brilliant image and write, dear poet)
it let me indulge in all that snarky cynicism I carry with me
in those unacknowledged corners of my psyche, lol

As I\'ve driven past a roadside pond, I\'ve often thought of how any life within that pond has no idea of life outside of that pond.
