I\'d never say halt
To a single malt

Enjoyable piece, indeed

It complements their stark Art Deco
To calm my nerves in High Stake Poker
I prefer Blood Red Rioja
While the CROUPIER (My Daughter)

Ha ha ha.
She who never learns turned her nose up at sauterns.
And though her memory is not quite gone, I blame the sauvignon.
Now the lady will not see me, I drown my sorrows in dry martini.
But it would be wrong for me to deride her, over a glass of vintage cider. etc etc

Good fun to start the day thank you.

Only two dates matter, when you\'re born and when you\'re gone. All else is just score keeping.
Today, here, is 04-30-19 so if I call it 30-04-19, it\'s still raining out.
Michael, you made me laugh, Thank you for that. Seascape is great Loved your entire post. - Phil A.

Great opportunity to point out how confused a long sea journey can make settlers in a new world.

Good Morning UNCLE MIKE : Its 9:30pm here ! SEASCAPE = ESCAPE especially for those (like BRIAN & I) who love sailing ! The M D Y system is American ! Remember 9 / 11 not the 9th of November but the 11th of SEPTEMBER ! Brian knows He was there and his Birthday was 9 / 8 (8th of September). It can be confusing when arranging dates & holidays in America. Churchill said *We are two Countries separated by a common language * and this is one example !

Yes, and it shows Birthdays as month, day, year on here too. Some don\'t get a birthday at all, in a way! Mine is 18/2 (UK), so it would show as 2/18. When is the 18th month?!

Michael,

Missed you!
Glad to ā€œseeā€ you!
Love your poem and artwork...of course!
Thereā€™s a lot that can be said about/interpreted from your poem! I have a few ideas; for now Iā€™ll just say, ā€œWhere thereā€™s a will, thereā€™s a way!ā€ At some other time, Iā€™ll share a quote from my 4 feet 11 great grandmother!

~Laura~šŸŒ»

P.S.-two of your paintings are hanging in an elite penthouse in NYC, two are on their way to San Francisco, CA and one is going to Italy! I just wanted you to know that!

I laughed out loud at \'her lips were never long enough\'. Thank you for this hilarious start to my week.
Yes one foot, two feet etc. But language is a plastic thing continually changing.... those youngsters use it in way it will continue to be used long after we are dead..... verily i say unto thee.

My punctuation, poor grammar, typos and lack of capitals are a symptom of my accepting and adopting sloppy practice... but most accept it nowadays. After all said and done, writing is just a way of putting the spoken communication onto a screen or papyrus innit?
