Thanks Fay for the rich expression of the abandonment of self I can feel when I embrace the night sky, the complete oneness of it all.
Here in the southern hemisphere, the black velvet is almost completely shredded…….

Oh such sights to behold indeed for they do things to our wellbeing, notleast reminding us that we are indeed stardust ourselves and most importantly, we belong.
With talk of energy shut downs (like we had in early 1970\'s) where cities turn off their night time lighting there should be much more opportunity to see the stars etc a lot clearer than at present.

This is so good and for so many reasons that I myself hold so very dear ..

Such a beautiful tribute to my very favorite season. Through your gentle words I can see it, smell it, feel it. On my autumnal walks my goal is always to catch a falling leaf. I Keep them in a sealed bag and each time I add
one I marvel at their color and shape, something tangible to always remind me of how incredible nature is.

Loved your lush description of Autumn. A time of plenty, of brilliant colors, of fruitful fields, and what seems a a time of gathering.
Your poem also, was descriptively luscious. Loved it.

Fills me with nostalgia Fay. The seasons (and Autumn especially) aren\'t the same where I live; although a trip to the Blue Mountains in March/April provides a flavour.
Your poem renders the richest of supplements.

Wonderful celebration of Autumn or as the americans call it, rather solemly, the fall. For autumn is possibly the most magnificent of seasons belching ripeness, health and readyness for the gruelling winter ahead. A celebration of a successful summer.
The romance of village communities coming together as one to bring home the richness of the harvest and sate the hardworked bodies with fine ale and pies full of hedge row bounty fruits and sturdy british apples.
Once again you paint wonderful pictures with your love of words.
Another \'must\' for my favourites.

\'to shed quiet
on growth\'s gaudy face
and lace
with dampening change
Sol\'s great\'..
simply Beautiful, dear Fay
I read and imagine the breeze, gathering
and autumn\'s wings, hovering
whispering, its coming arrival:
\' Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find
Thee sitting careless on a granary floor,
Thy hair soft-lifted by the winnowing wind;\'

Simply beautiful my dear friend. How often do we neglect those precious moments of contemplation, hurrying through our busy day, when the true worth of life is right before our very eyes. Thank you for reminding us to stop and smell the roses, admire the light that illuminates all. Once again you gently stroke the words to create a poem of pure joy.

Beautiful poetry Fay. For me, you have a way of placing life\'s romance into the tiny, day by day, things we overlook.
Left me feeling that us humans are mostly so out of tune with the nature of our home.
