Regeneration

Excellent choice of picture to accompany your words. Yes, slowly read a peace descends just as it would in the woodland pictured.

You really have captured the healing presence there is in the calm natural peace of such environs.

Into my favourites - that my mind shall be taken to the spirit place of inner peace and be refreshed.

Regeneration
L. B. Mek said:

(well, dear fay
you\'ve bestowed upon me
more inspiration and thus
these words below, blossomed
into existence
I\'ll thank you for the millionth time
with the same passion and humility
I had, when I thanked you
the very first time
as-ever, I bow
to your far - far, Superior
Guiding, talent
oh, most cherished Poet!)
\'induced to feel, faint
innate
our endless lament, of
cruel fate
as our journey\'s end;
serendipitous
mercy, of happenstance
destiny
as our self-tripping, mistakes
bereft
alone on our knees, before
wilderness
as callous as those, who
inflicted
our bruises and thus
unknowingly
freed us, gifted us
ethereal
rainbows of sunlight, delight
as Aurora
after life\'s blindsided, flash storms
delivering
us yield for our survival and belief
in a better
somewhere, existing beneath
trees
of rooted potential, in each and every
breath
we sip in defiance - in, hope
in choosing
to fight, to strive and Bravely
live...!\'

Love can conquer many things, and walls are the least to fall. Walls are inherently evil, when constructed through hate. None have ever accomplished their intended purpose, not Hadrian\'s Wall, nor the Great Walls of China, not the Berlin Wall.
Your poem suggests exactly why they failed. Love. - Phil A,

Good write Fay.
The \'scale\' - font size, or rather spacing, of my poems has gone funny. Not fixed it yet.

I love this use of the ambiguity in the concept of alteration - yours is a challenge to Shakespeare\'s. I like the fortress allegory and the idea that the castle falling can be a very good thing.

Yield
L. B. Mek said:

or at least we hope, so
but
even in that hope, their
is yield
and as for debt, until
acknowledged
only exists, in our
rear view mirror realities
while we
were gifted our own two feet
to traverse our fates...
(wise words, dear Fay
and I\'m drawn to that image
especially its horizontal, significance
\'equality\' as a life policy
to love\'s empowering
shared-independence, mentality)
thank you!

I yield, and give in, surrender, lay down my life (no need to go that far, you\'re just being a drama queen, says Fido!) and say:
Good write Fay. Not that anything was stopping me saying that in the first place. lol.

Awayness
MendedFences27 said:

I too have experienced \"Awayness,\" and with it the pain. Mine, occurred at an airport. Same pain, different train. I knew mine was right and pursued it. Now, for the happy ending, going on 52 years of Love. Your poem brought back memories of those early days. Thank you for posting. A new Fav for me. - Phil A.

As a youngster I was crazy about trains and spent a lot of time on railway stations. Your words evoke memories of scenes so often seen when I was too young to understand the feelings. Seeing the aftermath of that disappearing train.

\'Love blurs by acceptance of tear-filling eyes.\'
I could spend a day, meditating
and contemplating
the everyday utility and wisdom
of this line
and it would still, be a useful day
an investment
to the future me, I yearn to cultivate
eventually..
\'Seared straws of comfort clutch need\'s dying spark.\'
again n again
you awe me, with your Poetry
dear Fay..
I read and learn, gratefully

A sad but true image and allegory, of receding tides and love lost. Loved, \"her thoughts tun to gone embraces, \"As life\'s rollers drag mood heedlessly.\" The sea is such a massive force it\'s no wonder it can remind one of a lost love, which often times is a massive loss. The pain will also be of great magnitude. Just a lovely poem, Fay. - Phil A.

The rattling bones cry of pebbles neath retiring waves mock the death of shared fulfillment as the unceasing ocean crash tells \"life must go on\".

Once again your words took me to a lonely place in time upon a beach... such a grand place to come to terms with our lives.

A place I\'d like to be taken to again and again, what better reason for including in my favourites.

I think Sunset is the most beautiful part of a day. The Sun can play many a different \"Performance\" and create lots of unusual skylines, and when it plays over water it becomes more mysterious.
A wonderful poem Fay. I liked \"lights lacy fingers.\" The Sun setting brings color variations and paints some lovely and sometimes spooky images as it brings on the night. - Phil A.
