\'we
of midyears
met
new sensations
and loved
stirring up bated passion
by gentle yield.

Time\'s passing
has made satin
from drab
long-worn creased cotton
and now gone
that ready fever of fullest
acceptance
will, be never forgotten\'..
(this, dear Fay
is your Poetry
at its worded excellence
Best)
thank you!!!
\'a joy to read
an honour, to call upon
my own feelings, forth
from within
its imbued: emotive passion\'

Love in any season has its shining moment and with it its unique brilliance and timbre. These qualities make these uniquely wonderful and to be able to share that with someone enriches and deepens nuanced love that moves through the ages of human life. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.

It\'s like a Gothic novel with a happy ending, well at least a hopeful one.
The \"Darkest of worlds\" to \"can have lasting reversal,\" \"beckons to hope kept inside.\" At first, I was depressed, but then things became brighter. A real contrast in tone, _ Phil A.

Such clever rhymes helping to make the poem move on from despair to anticipation and hope to reversal. Through Self. I guess it a lot of us can recognise someting of ourselves here.

I love the hopeful nature of your poem. In it I see the ability of the heart and mind to bounce back from despair, and use the experience to rekindle the self. So well written!

I really enjoyed your poem.
We humans are so unnecessarely destructive. An increase in co2 levels in the atmosphere should be beneficial for trees, but not it we keep felling them for greed. I keep planting them. I feel emotionally attached to my trees.

I wish I was there to see feel and smell it. Envigorating memories of rough and threatening sea coastlines fill my mind. So exciting for land lubbers like me.

We see it all, yet what will it take for our individual greed to change the course - maybe when we have depleted the source of our breath - the trees. As always, beautifully prosed!

Trees and Me
Bella Shepard said:

I am the biggest tree hugger, so if you were a beautiful tree I would give you the biggest hug. We marvel at their beauty, but never really understand the intricate horticultural workings it takes for trees to be. You have stated this so beautifully, and our own peril should we continue to destroy them. Beautifully written, I enjoyed every word.

This is so true to what has happened to me Fay and we do not understand from where this love of ours has come from, but it is there for us both.

Later in life it\'s more difficult to climb those \"mountains\" and find those \"horizons,\" and maybe that makes them all the more pleasurable.
